Him picking Puke isn’t shocking. Everyone had him as all but there already. Now becomes the interesting part of him being cleared to play this season. I would bet he plays because it’s Puke. You hear about east coast guys getting waivers and cleared all the time but seldom east of the Mississippi.

@HawkChamp We will see the Devonte we’re used to seeing next year. I think Jaybate is right - the kid was playing injured. We get the warrior back this year- the fierce competitor that outplayed Buddy Hield in that glorious game. Devonte’s performance in that game impressed Marcus Garrett so much, he mentioned it as one of the reasons Devonte was his favorite player. Everyone seems to be selling DG short, but I’m not. There is a reason he is my favorite player. There is twisted steel behind that smile.

@approxinfinity It’s taken me LeBron’s entire career to get to the point where I can stand him. I’ve softened up on him because of his level of commitment to Ohio. It has helped me deal with all his ego moments and tantrums. I know how hard it can be to see another idea when a strong vision comes into mind about it. I’m there constantly! All I want is a fair share of fair calls. I have no desire to hustle another team out of calls that we don’t deserve because we tricked the refs to make a bad call. I guarantee you that I’m positioned in this to later say, “I told you so” if we have the horrible situation where we get ripped off down the stretch on a call that costs us the National Championship. If that happens, then suddenly everyone will understand what I’m barking about and suddenly everyone will understand the difference between “selling a call” and “flopping.”

@HawkChamp that it does. all we can do is hope that it gives Frank some well deserved rest. hope that it gives them time to reflect that wearing KU colors does not mean that they squeak out a win every time. hope that they implement some basic basketball knowledge with their great skills that they have for the next 6 games. @HawkChamp Agreed they did a great job Saturday. Fran has gone on more rants in other games since our West Virginia game and has gotten into some twitter wars. It’s not a coincidence people are starting to call him out for his ridiculous announcing and opinions. I feel like Doug Gotlieb has taken over his body and is living vicariously through him.
