  I noticed that Calipari, like Bruce Weber frequently is on the court while the ball is in play. Coach Self does a nice job of staying on the side line and in the coaching box.

  @kjayhawks I legitimately did regarding Elmarko. He’s only scored off of layups or when he drives. His shot is not great. I didn’t feel like I had to preface it but Juan has to score against the great teams so he might as well get used to it against the bad teams. I agree he won’t look to score at all against chaminade but then the next two games I hope he steps up by hunting his shot from the tip. @wissox - this is the appreciation thread I referenced…feel free to scroll up and acknowledge what I said about Dajuan

  @FarmerJayhawk His jumper looks much more in flow and smooth this season. Last season he had a hitch in it, he’s put some hours in the gym this offseason no question.

  Still real concerned about this teams depth. - I think it’s going to be a big hindrance as the season progresses. - I think in the back third of the Season , we are going to see some worn down players, they gonna have to play A LOT of minutes throughout the year. No room at all for injuries - --foul problems – -or outside issues. - -I still wonder how well Hunter gonna fit in this program, to me just seems like a bad fit. -Our best success is we are out and running fast paced- -is Hunter going to fit that role? – I don’t think so, lot of body to keep a fast pace, unless we play slow down ball limit possessions - ----- I dunno we shall see

  A little bit off this topic here but I heard last night where just another way out eliminating the little school completely out of the post Season. Yesterday they announced the NIT was no longer giving out Automatic bids. They are going to award invites for the top two teams from the P-6 that didn’t get the invite for the NCAA’s Tourney , then they will fill in the rest from at larges - -like they said just another way to put the screws to the smaller schools.
