  I forget who was asking but Svi is just 14 points from being a 1,000 point scorer and sets 7th in the all time 3 pointers made list with 201, DTG is 3rd with 251. Boschee is #1 with 338.

  @HighEliteMajor I generally agree with you. In our younger days, before video games, we spent our off days and vacations playing sports all day long. NBA players are pros and their full time concern is physical conditioning where college athletes are only doing it part-time. The NBA does rest players for games at the time towards the end of the season and in preparation for the playoffs. More importantly, now that Preston (and car) is gone, players have to hoof it all the way from their dorm to Wescoe Beach, going uphill both ways.

Well, uh, you know, main thing playing for a legendary coach, I couldn’t pass that up. I wasn’t highly recruited coming out of high school, I couldn’t pass that up.” I liked the Graham interview. And lastly, I liked this line from the article as I’ve wondered about the same thing: “The various computer power ratings love the Big 12. So as the conference of fickle fate recommences, here’s what you wonder: Are the recent scores reflective of teams starting to show flaws, or the inevitable bleeding when you go swimming with sharks?” When the other B12 teams do their early exits every year from the dance, is it because our conference isn’t as good as people think it is, or because they’re all bleeding? Combo maybe?

I’m sure they can’t run certain plays with him yet. I do however believe that if Silvio survives his first stint without a negative play he might get another chance.   Speaking of LeBron? I don’t care how much you donate to one cause or another. It doesn’t give you the right to act like an a hole. Now I’m not going to lay all the blame of Lebron’s attitude at his feet. Let’s not for get this poor kid when he was a kid was being labeled the best of all time. Those kinds of expectations can be very overwhelming to anybody. I think the big issue that most fans need to understand about Lebron. His that he really doesn’t have great leadership skills. He is just the best at what he does. When he was playing for the Heat Wade was the boss/leader. Lebron had no problems with it. Lebron is just not a leader. I’m betting right now as his time with the Cavs is coming to a close. He wishes he could somehow play under Curry and the Warriors. Lebron maybe indeed the best ever? Yet he plays better, and has better success when he has a leader.

  Travis Releford was awesome at making layups, but Frank figured out how to finish through contact early on. That guy was amazing! Mason drove into the defender’s body to put him on his heels and draw the foul. It was science by his Sr. year. DG just doesn’t have the body to take that kind of pounding, but he has done much better at drawing contact. Hopefully Devonte’ can get his legs back under him and that helps him finish at the rim better. (We haven’t seen the cramping issue pop up yet, but fatigue sets in when you don’t get breaks)
