NCAA NON- KU GAMES
-
Not in locker room after game. Probably taking the loss for that stupid not a 10 sec call!
-
@Crimsonorblue22 sometimes the ones it hurts the hardest come back and give you the most. Jaun is class. Jaun is KU.
-
That one 10 second call was huge and costly but when you lose by a single point. I could list 20 plays right now that would have won it for us. That’s just how close games go and it’s tough to swallow. It’s much easier to lose by 20 knowing it just wasn’t your night/ played a better team or something.
-
And those missed free throws
-
While I won’t watch any more basketball this season, I’m rooting for Alabama. I want the NCAA to have to smile, about a kid who assisted in the murder of an innocent gal, winning it all. If there ever was a time for leadership to step in this would’ve been it. But they’re more worried about kids getting paid 6 years ago.

Thanks and admiration for the players and coaches. Our starters were stars. We will see who goes and who comes in.and if anyone thinks it’s just about the money well this is American capitalism where we pay a lot for a little so hell yes it’s about the money and how much. The players and families will get a lot of information to decide for themselves. Hope that everything works out well for them and so forth. Not to mention Bill Self’s decision which is the biggest thing right now.

Like I posted yesterdy afterwards. Think about it , IF Kevin & Jalen had even hit the front end of their one & one’s doesn’t matter about the back end - -they hit the front of those in the closing minute/minutes - -that’s two more points & we win
-
Gradey didn’t take any kind of role yesterday, given his time on the court. 7 pts, 1/3 on 3’s. He could have done better in the biggest game of his life… oh, well. Next man up.

Like Coach Roberts said. Teams grew how they had to play Grady - they blanketed him making him a priority - forcing Ku to make some one else score besides Grady & Jalen - -a lot of Face Guarding made it pretty hard on him. - I don’t have any complaints with Grady - big games in a lot of games this year
-
Xavier not having any trouble with Pitt.
-
Nowell giving Kentucky fits
-
I feel like UK is one run away from blowing this wide open. They are destroying KSU on the glass
-
@kjayhawks KSU can’t rebound and Kentucky sucks defensively. Interesting game.
-
@BShark ksu with a little burst here, I miss when we had guards that could go get their own shot like that. Such a huge advantage. Not a knock towards Juan but a guy like with speed.
-
If we had Oscar we’d be dam good, hope Udeh is watching
-
KSU it is
-
wow K-State.
-
Hurts watching KSU step up and make plays when we couldn’t prob done watching til next season.

@mayjay haha

Calimari sitting in the TO looks like a grandpa getting ready to read to the tots.
-
Kentucky with 16 turnovers is why they’re going to lose.
-
Happy for KSU. Don’t know about other fan bases, but I cheer for B12 teams after the conference season is over lol
-
Cal continues to be a world class tournament choker lol
-
Sucks for Kentucky, but at least they’re used to it.

An amazing downfall after 2015. Just remarkable.

Especially when they beat UK…
-
@Eric-san the problem is for me living in the middle of KSU land. They haven’t stopped talking about the 2010 team that went farther than KU. Will be talking about this long after I’m in the cold hard ground. KSU is trending up to the point they could easily be better than us next season. Hopefully we can beat them in football.

Who cares? I live around lots of KSU guys as well. Also they will lose Keyontae and Nowell so DOUBT.
-
@BShark for sure, it’s more so KSUs achieving moderate success and being the new power that gets old.

KSU fans are often very sad in my experience.
-
I will hear it tmrw! But we beat them too this yr.

We were the better team this year. It’s basketball shit happens. The tournament is super fickle. Benefited us last year.
-
Watching this st Mary’s vs UConn makes me want to puke. We can’t beat either of those and ucla or zags….we can beat anyone but maybe Bama and houston in this tourney. If those two don’t win it…that’s gonna suck
-
And if Bama wins it, that’s going to suck as well (because I hate the SEC.)
So maybe I’m rooting for Houston, in a very conflicted way? I guess that would sort of keep the B12 streak of champions going since Houston is joining next year.
-
@bskeet I’m 100% cheering for Houston or IU (good friend is from IU and they haven’t been relevant in years - he hates sampson said his cheating decimated their program for 3-5 years). Odd teams to cheer for lol with sampson at houston. Go future big 12
-
Izzo is so fun to watch this time of year, such a character
-
Baylor down 14 to Creighton with 10:00 left in the game.
-
It’s becoming easier to imagine a mid-major-heavy FF with Creighton, Xavier, Gonzaga and Michigan St.
-
Can’t decide if I’d rather Texas win it as kudos to the strong big 12 this year or Houston so that we can still say all of the recent champs are in the big 12 next year. (Is Texas officially out of the big12 for basketball next year? I know they are still in for football.)
-
Of the teams left who I’d be ok with them winning it’d be Texas, Silo Tech, Tennessee, Gonzaga, MSU, Arkansas (it’s always better to say we got knocked out by the eventual champion), FAU, Princeton would be the coolest! Creighton
Teams who I loathe the idea of winning it. Alabama, UConn, Xavier,
Teams I’d be meh about winning UCLA, SD State, Miami
NIT team I’d be cool with winning: Wisconsin!
-
For me, I’m rooting for the Big 12 teams plus Houston to go as far as possible. However, maybe not KSU to win it all because we’d never hear the end of it.
Other teams I’m rooting for as second options: Princeton, Tennessee, Michigan State (like their coach), Miami (like their coach), Arkansas (i like the players, definitely not the shirtless coach).
Teams I am rooting hard against: UCLA (screw the PAC), Gonzaga (just because), Alabama (Thugs), FAU (tasteless play at the end of last game)
-
KU women are absolutely destroying Missouri in the 3rd quarter by 20 in the 2nd round of the WNIT.
-
@benshawks08 they’re in for one more year.
-
Ya’ll really should watch this. https://twitter.com/MattLepay/status/1637927974149160962?s=20
-
Neat little congruence: The Miami men put the Indiana men out of the tourney.
The Miami women put the Indiana women out of their tourney.
-
First time ever I’m following the NIT and tonight Utah Valley knocked off Cincy. I recall them surprising us back in December as the were a feisty squad. They had a great home crowd at their stadium.
-
@wissox so you’re saying we get at least one easy conference game next year.
-
@dylans Yeah, I’m not too worried about Cincinnati
