This is the part that sucks. Like you don’t look forward to anything now but late night… but it honestly sucks for the players worse. Ugh. Hard times

Actually the big12 not showing up great here so far. Idk if we just beat each other up too bad or if it’s just smoke in mirrors. I hate when they yammer all year about how great the league is… are you basing that on the first 10 games of a 35 games season?

@cragarhawk I think the Big 12 was all varying degrees of mediocre. Everyone is pretty flawed.

@FarmerJayhawk if a big12 team makes the title game or something some will say it wasn’t BS… the tourney is a crapshoot, etc. But imo you need to get more teams to the second weekend and the last honestly to proclaim “best league ever, hands down”

@Crimsonorblue22 sometimes the ones it hurts the hardest come back and give you the most. Jaun is class. Jaun is KU.

That one 10 second call was huge and costly but when you lose by a single point. I could list 20 plays right now that would have won it for us. That’s just how close games go and it’s tough to swallow. It’s much easier to lose by 20 knowing it just wasn’t your night/ played a better team or something.

While I won’t watch any more basketball this season, I’m rooting for Alabama. I want the NCAA to have to smile, about a kid who assisted in the murder of an innocent gal, winning it all. If there ever was a time for leadership to step in this would’ve been it. But they’re more worried about kids getting paid 6 years ago.

Thanks and admiration for the players and coaches. Our starters were stars. We will see who goes and who comes in.and if anyone thinks it’s just about the money well this is American capitalism where we pay a lot for a little so hell yes it’s about the money and how much. The players and families will get a lot of information to decide for themselves. Hope that everything works out well for them and so forth. Not to mention Bill Self’s decision which is the biggest thing right now.

Gradey didn’t take any kind of role yesterday, given his time on the court. 7 pts, 1/3 on 3’s. He could have done better in the biggest game of his life… oh, well. Next man up.

Like Coach Roberts said. Teams grew how they had to play Grady - they blanketed him making him a priority - forcing Ku to make some one else score besides Grady & Jalen - -a lot of Face Guarding made it pretty hard on him. - I don’t have any complaints with Grady - big games in a lot of games this year

@BShark ksu with a little burst here, I miss when we had guards that could go get their own shot like that. Such a huge advantage. Not a knock towards Juan but a guy like with speed.

@Eric-san the problem is for me living in the middle of KSU land. They haven’t stopped talking about the 2010 team that went farther than KU. Will be talking about this long after I’m in the cold hard ground. KSU is trending up to the point they could easily be better than us next season. Hopefully we can beat them in football.

Who cares? I live around lots of KSU guys as well. Also they will lose Keyontae and Nowell so DOUBT.
