Saw this on Twitter from Creighton Coover:
#KUbball has, by far, the longest current streak of receiving a #4 seed or higher in the #NCAATournament. This short list exemplifies the incredible consistency the #Jayhawks have shown for the entire century thus far! Kansas - 21 Gonzaga - 5 Purdue - 5 Baylor - 2
I thought McCullar looked really good today. He had a quiet Double/Double with 5 steals. Just kinda hiding in the background but he’s been an excellent addition.
Dunno where else to put this. I’ll just leave it here…
Missouri will be on its 7th basketball coach since Bill Self arrived at Kansas. Self is the 8th coach in KU history.
Storr has withdrawn from the NBA draft and is coming to KU.

Is it possible the big guys are playing a bit soft to avoid fouls, hence fewer rebounds? Given that the big guys spent a lot of time on the bench in the first half, it had to impact rebounding.
If Preston can return, those numbers should change (I would hope)…

What am I missing?
Langford was 4/12 field goals in 31 minutes during an exhibition victory over a Southern Indiana. 4 rebounds and 1 assist. 5 turnovers. This Buckets group would have crucified him…
I see Zuby Ejiofor, KU to St John’s a couple of years ago, still has scoring and rebounding woes. Pitino may bench the junior.
@rcjhdraft - Screw ups at the end of the game are habitual this year. At least KSU didn’t score before the half. Another loss.
Probably not going to get any easier next year?
Am I right? KU has given up a touchdown in every game in the last 2 minutes of the 1st half?
@Texas-Hawk-10 - Even though they gave up a lot of yards in the first 30 minutes, it was close at half. Inept offense in the 2nd half let it get out of hand (although a couple of calls that could have gone KU’s way might have changed everything). I would have to see the splits by half though.
@Texas-Hawk-10 - KU offense didn’t do enough to stay on the field. Thus, the defense was gassed. Still looks like the O takes most of the blame, IMO.
*KU gives up a touchdown right before the half - again. *4th qtr collapse - again.
These players have to be feeling pretty low.
@patoh3 - years and years of being the worst team on the field. Refs will do those teams no favors. Plays need to be clearly a catch. No questionable penalties. Last year may be an outlier as far as other teams are concerned.
