  @stoptheflop I go to a college bb chat room, and it was recently discovered that one guy had 6 different aliases, each from a different mid-major school. He would routinely have long conversations with himself. I have deemed him Mr. Hat, and his aliases Mr. Garrison.

  @JayHawkFanToo Maybe. I know he returns and plays in scrimmages at KU against current players. He could pull a Jerod Haase and help Roy Williams for a time. I think he has a fair relationship with Self and KU that he might consider coaching. He may go back to Iowa and join LaFrentz and buy up the other half of the state. We all know Dick Vitale had a man crush on him too. If anything, he stays in OKC and helps coach up the Thunder bigs.

Some whiny hand wringers calling for a better coach but more of put-it-behind-us stuff like this: "▼bad, rough loss but i’d say teams like uva or kansas blowing double digit leads is worse. just put this in the rear view mirror and learn from it "▼Arizona has the worst fans in the country??? Really Greg Last time I checked McKale has been sold out forever and Arizona has not made a final four since 2001. Literally Arizona has some of the best fans in the country. If this was Duke, Kentucky, UNC, or Kansas and they just lost like that, there fan base would be saying the exact same things as many are saying. Actually probably 10 times worse. That was not a bad game, it was an AWFUL AWFUL game…and I bet you McKale will be full on Wendesday still.

  @ralster good points. You can definitely lose when you play great defense if you couple that with poor shooting, like Nova last year. Really, you can’t have one without the other. I would say the first half today was a good balance between the two. This team can absolutely play championship level defense, but they seem to only do it when need be. Maybe they are trying to conserve energy? I really dont know.

  @wissox Unfortunately it does not work this way, you either toe the corporate line or you are gone. This is true for most business where you do what you are assigned to do regardless of what you think or else you find yourself unemployed…however, most corporations are not in the business of keeping people informed and having the readers’ trust.

  @Hawk8086 This is what I was thinking exactly. – I mean these things for sure doesn’t justify, or make it any better for us, cause we lost. - But just like you I was thinking, actually we lost no ground, doesn’t make our loss feel any better two lost also. What’s so crazy is that the top three ALL lost on their home floors. – The ONE thing it did do was, the teams that was sitting on the fence kid of as far as the NCAA tourney goes - -these wins sure helped their cause.- -K-State, Iowa State, - -Oklahoma St The only scary thing is, we have to go to K- State -Baylor - -& Oklahoma St yet, those are for sure no sure wins, kind of fricken scary. I wouldn’t want to put money on any of them. K-State is gonna be pumped for the game because of a combination of things: Playing us within 2 at Ku - - Being big Monday - -Winning today at Baylor - -And the off the floor issues that we are going trough, these guys are going to be pumped up - -it’s going to be a zoo. We never play well at Oklahoma State - -seem like we play like crap. - Then Baylor just being Baylor. This thing is still wide open. I’m still trying to figure out - -WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED? – In the 2nd half? – Someone tell me how a team can look really good in the 1st half and then do a 360 and look like total crap the 2nd. – -21 turnovers? - -Dam nd most of those wern’t forced - -they were just sloppy play. - -Then we out rebound a team 19-3 in the first half - and what happened the 2nd? - -I don’t know still shaking my head on this Another crazy weekend: -2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 17, - - Question is - - is there REALLY a team that’s just head and shoulders above everyone else? - - Crazy - - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  @drgnslayr Here is some trivia that not too many people know about Vitale. I believe he is the only individual to coach HS, Division I college and the NBA.
