  It could have gone the other way but it would have been a bad call, I think. We got lots of bad calls in our favor that night, but that wasn’t one of them. My opinion of course, which I dont think is biased this time

  @approxinfinity If your contention is Storr is a good basketball player and Self needs to go I believe the gulf in how we view the game is too wide to overcome. But here is where I’m coming from. Storr is no good at being a teammate, I’ll stand by that. The ball movement already isn’t great, but he’s a black hole on offense and his defense is atrocious. If he could figure out how to switch and help on D he would get some run. However his advanced stats show that he is the same player for KU he was at Wisconsin - the difference is his usage is actually down from 32%!!! at Wisconsin to 22% at KU but it hasn’t made him any more efficient.   @DCHawker Agreed. They play very soft, it seems all players do everything in their power to avoid contact. I’d love to see slashers putting pressure on the other team by fouling them up. I’d like to see Flory drawing as many fouls as he gives. Improved rebounding and fouling up the other team are mostly effort plays, they can do it if they set their mind to it.

  @AsadZ Hmm if Iowa St hadn’t blown a big lead against them in their matchup we’d be calling them the best team so far. A combo of those two teams have visually looked tops and probably a gap after that. Auburn’s defense isn’t as good as several but they certainly can score with the best of them. Gilbert of Iowa St is a sneaky top player that gets no recognition. I think he’s a baller. Just a solid team overall

  @FarmerJayhawk Hunter’s steal rate is way up this year to go with decent block rate and great rebounding numbers. He’s turned into a solid defensive center, just still can’t slide for shit so he can be exploited in P&R in the wrong matchup. Ideally, we just need to avoid teams with stretch fives that can punish drop coverage.

  I still go there because they do put stories on all KU sports, football, soccer, volleyball etc. I concur that quality of articles has dropped but I get to receive information. For this reason, I have started a monthly trial and will see how it goes.
