Council leads the conference in minutes played per game. The guy before DP came back was probably Elmarko who can get it done mostly but Melvin can play defense and wants to. Council has shot sub 40 every year and it looks like the floaters he uses when penetrating are still a bit awkward. I guess DP will run things more or less now and having Melvin as a wing is good because he can assist and was getting better and better at that all year. Now that we can average 80 I think he will be good in whatever role he is in. This roster goes eight deep plus I keep dreaming of Dawson getting comfortable and going off from three. DP, Flory and Tre, Melvin and Tiller are reliable on both ends and are scoring 69 points between them. Now that Elmarko, who can go off and Jamari who defends and hits 3 balls this teams is going to get tougher and tougher to beat. Of course worry wart me is nervous about NCSU and their tall deep shooters.

I think coach Hurley had a perplexed or stunned look on his face. UConn mostly looked just average. It's a fluke loss. Bricking lay ups even to the point of air balling is funny is retrospect. What I really want to see is this team keeping up the effort on defense. It's effective and I'm proud of them. This team has losses to NC, Duke and UConn and played them even 90% of the time. If Peterson is really good we could beat all of them.

The US is addicted to low wages and always has been. When pay for performance and bonuses for management started in the early 70's and went viral in 1984 it's been pay and wealth disparity on steroids ever since. The efficiency has to improve YOY to keep the money flowing upward. It never stops. At one time it was legislated to avoid monopolies like Bell Telephone. In 1984 that all changed and it has evolved into three or four entities like JP Morgan Chase owning it all. It's the American Capitalist dream realized and it was inevitable. The media has been bought up into just a few companies like Sinclair, Disney and Murdock Media. All the big empires eventually start to decline and the US is no different. Just look how corrupt our national government and every state government is. You can't get elected without big money and you have sold your soul as the result. 1500 registered lobbyists per House and Senate member. We are being managed just like all of them. The fat dumb and happy American is not a complete lie. Enjoy your families love and warmth it's precious.

This team doesn't mess around and looks serious all the time. They don't seem uptight at all and play heads up defense. I watched Tiller all game and he was hustling and doesn't give ground in the paint. Elmarko is a wild card to an opposing defense he's sneaky fast and fearless. He's very athletic and I think his shots will start falling. Jamari is an asset as a 6th man. He can defend about anywhere and now his shot is swishy. Flory goes along doing his job and wham he can take over. Other centers find out he is no push over real quick and there is none who can keep up with his agility and quickness on the blocks and he can score on you at any time and go get lobs like crazy. Tiller and Flory both weren't ready for a couple of deep drives and quick passes from DP. It looked like DP got tired and it was to be expected. He is lightning quick and will burn you from deep, mid range and layups. Three of his lay ups where like how did he do that. Melvin you just keep on putting pressure on their guards. He is not just quick he is down right faster than ya'll. This could become a nightmare team on both ends and glory be Jayden Dawson our 6'5" 205' guard made a three which is his specialty and being a senior should be able to figure it out. We have a long rest before NCST and I'm not sure is a true home court for them in a Raleigh venue. If we can beat them then we have two kinda cup cakes and our first five conference games whether away or home are winnable until ISU in Ames. I hope we are rolling by then. It may be a dream but 15-3 warms me all over. If i'm that warm I will get sweet snuggles all night from my love.

We will defend but can we score? Hurley's team will play tough and maybe a little over the line. Tre may get a little offended by that. Don't foul out Tre as we will need all of your 16 points. KU 74 Uconn 71.

The last two years those teams came out flat and maybe not ready and those damned double digits deficits sometimes up to 15 or so points. This resulted in the hated 27 point halves. This team has avoided that to my recollection.

We haven't allowed a team to break into the 30% range I don't think so maybe we can mitigate that. We are shooting a respectable 34% which is our best in a while. We have averaged 7.1 3 balls made this year which can go up to 9 with DP back. He opens things up.

NCST top 6 players average 45.6% on three balls.

I keep hearing how we hammered Missouri and we did the same thing to Louisville which was to keep them down by 12 or so points it wasn't hammering but we guarded them and made it tough for them to go on runs. We guarded ND and Tennessee and held them 15-20 points below average. NC and Duke kept us at arms length the same way but not getting hammered. UConn was when we only made five second half baskets. We guarded Uconn too. Even Hurley was perplexed with the result.
