Hard to imagine anything has changed regarding Darryn Peterson. Will Self manage his minutes more effectively? We shall see. Will DP say the heck with it, I'm gonna shut these keyboard coaches up and get out there and play a full game?
TCU is no pushover. 11-3 record, 53 KenPom. Lost to Michigan by 4 which is something because UM has been blowing most teams out, even good teams. Beat Florida. Beat Wisconsin. Beat Baylor and their semi pro guy. Bad loss to New Orleans early in the season and a loss to ND.
We should win by about 3-6 points.

@wissox83 Please, someone put me in charge of his minutes. 10 minutes pregame team prayer. 20 minutes (collectively) handing out Gatorade to players. 10 minutes handing out towels. 45 minutes cheerleading. But not stand-up, pom pom chearleading, sitting on the pine cheerleading. Safety first ya know.

Bill said Darryn feels good and that no one knows yet what the formula is to get the most out of his minutes. He is not there yet where he can play extended minutes but feels good and his legs only let him go so far currently. He said nobody has worked out the formula yet and all the monday morning qb's have their ideas. He said of course they have talked about taking away from the 1st half minutes to get him more in the second half but was noncommittal about that. And he didn't mention a minute restriction limit. Looks like he'll play tomorrow.

If this were the NBA nobody would bat an eye if this were his rookie season and his minutes were restricted for 5-10 games. He's playing, he's trying, he's producing. We just have a different standard with a shorter season and more value placed on conference play.
Another instance where we complain about something, but what we're complaining about isn't entirely reality. He's not saving himself for the NBA, he'd be doing this there too and it would be entirely acceptable.
And every year we pride ourselves on the number of NBA talents we have on the team. If we don't let kids train at Kansas as they would train in the NBA, I don't think we'll like the alternative of a team bereft of elite talent.

Tough game and a close game that goes down to the wire. Can we really guard or has UCF exposed us as a paper Jayhawk. Maybe it's a will we guard the whole game. Everyone plays good on O and we win by 6 or 7 points. Isn't it time we see this team show a sustainable improvement and have our bench hit some shots. Two fouls on any of our starters exposes our unreliable bench. I think we are a five deep team. Kohl adds a risk factor that makes your collision insurance go up but we at least know when he is in the game. Jamari is a sub for Tiller or Flory and nuff said. Elmarko is inexplicably inexplicable. Tiller has Tre doing what he should be doing. So I guess it's alright isn't it.t it?

@Tallturd1 that’s my problem is this team right now looks a year away from being special. We know that most of these guys won’t be back next season. Jackson is quickly becoming one of the more disappointing recruits in the Self era, dude was a top 20 national recruit. Any word on Dawson? I really was hoping he could come along and get some of those wasted minutes from Jackson. That injury really hurt him in terms of minutes. We just are talking lumps with the freshman trio of Calderon, Kohl and Tiller especially defensively. I think those 3 will be great CBB players, they just need time so I hope they stay here. I still think we made a mistake not getting another experienced big man like I’ve been saying since July.

Was curious had been wondering, so finally checked and what I had been wondering turned out true. -- -Tre white knows how to draw fouls, Knows how to make contact and draw fouls.- - Tre is sixty five /seventy five on the Deason -- closest team mate has shot THIRTY SHOTS LESS , that's Flory we need more players like Tre draw those fouls
