  @kuballin10 I do still think this topic is generally true as a whole tbh. People expect huge leaps from returning players and that has happened with some guys it’s because they put the work in. Others like KJ were just genuinely about already maxxed out when they got here. His per 40 stats are pretty similar every year for example and he was a hard worker. Some guys just can’t develop in some aspects.

  Update: Jackson expects to be full go by May, his doctors tell him. Good article on 247 about his recovery, what he’s focused on and how he’s managed this year. Sounds like beloved Hawk Tyrel Reed has been a big part of his recovery.

In some cases the misuse is because users are not saavy enough to understand the limitations and the tech interface is underdeveloped to help users know when the results are probably unreliable. In other cases the misuse is because users are very savvy and know how to manipulate tech which is under-tested and underdeveloped to prevent deliberate misuse.

  Case could be made that Self and KU would’ve played yesterday if KJ didn’t get hurt. For what it’s worth Mayjay, my Badgers on line community is far worse. Yesterday they ‘forced’ me to turn the game off at the half. Wasn’t going well, but the online people were trolling big time. It is nice to be a KU fan and to be honest, “my” 1988 championship is a lifelong feelgood memory that few college students get to experience and it’s made me content to take these season ending losses nearly every year since. Although the Sox have me sad, it’s freed up a lot of time, and money in the summers to do other things that are pleasurable in the summer. I live right along Lake Michigan, 5 minute walk, and last summer I spent so many great evenings over there that might have been sitting in my lazy boy watching baseball if the Sox were decent so, football is the next sport season I really pay attention to! First world problems we all have for sure.

  Knueppel’s little bro was on TV tonight here in the Wisconsin semi finals. Wonder if their parents went to the State game in Madison or the Duke game against a 16 seed. Little bro plays for state title tomorrow. Lots of miles on the car/flier miles accumulated this season. Not sure how the NCAA sets these games up. But just wrapping up are the Fears brothers. Like the NCAA really couldn’t have scheduled the two games at different times so the parents could watch both? I’m sure there’s been other conflicts with players out there as well.

  @SlimShaddy54 I agree 100%. For my personal amusement, I’ve taken it even further. This year, for the first year maybe since Danny, we’re an underdog — not a horrible seed (top half of the bracket), but our team seems to be in disarray and never really gelled. So I’ve made a decision to recategorize as a Cinderella, with the benefit of providing hope and smug satisfaction for every game we win, with little/no surprise or disappointment if we lose. This is going to be hard to pull off. Wish me luck.
