  Well personally for me & I know most here won’t like it BUT oh well lol. For me the season has started out VERY well. I’ a huge Yankee fan, always have been - - -always will be, ever since as long as I can remember. I remember when I was little my dad used to get so mad at my brother and I always would say well you guys need to root for your home team - -the more he said that - -the more I pulled for NY. lol Just like is the case in any sport , everyone has a favorite - -mine just happens to be NY - - Just like in football has always been the Green Bay Packers - -and in Basketball has always been the Celtics , but to root for a team just because they are local - -pssssssssssst please. Just like when I was growing up and even still some these days , got really sick and tired of hearing about Dallas Cowboys " America’s Team " - - I always thought Hell I’m an American and they sure the hell not my team lol. Anyways my boys starting off 20-9, really young, and people saying and which they are - -loaded. - -unbelievable young talent.- -Most were saying they were/are about a year away, but now saying they might have arrived a year early. Long Season - - A really long season - - -but hey starting strong. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  No way the Royals retain Homer with the agent he has. Boras gets top dollar as you eluded. I didn’t think Johny Cuento was a good move by the Royals. He didn’t pitch well except once in the World Series. And they gave up way to much for him and the utility hitter they borrowed that season. Shouldn’t have paid Gordon that much either. It is sad watching the Royals take their strength - a dominate bullpen and trade it away for crap. Now they have no calling card. They are not good at any one thing. They don’t even play passionately anymore.

  @AsadZ I think we have to wait on a few of these guys. Hoz has almost no trade value at this moment unless someone on another team gets injured. If Cain can continue what he’s been doing, he is the type of guy you hold on until the deadline because every single team in the playoff race would want him. Teams would trade for him just so others wouldn’t get him. Vargas could get traded right now for quite a bit. He is pitching great and a lot of teams could use a lefty in their rotation. We need to trade him before he breaks down again. Hammel and Kennedy don’t have great value quite yet. As the deadline approaches, if one or both is around a 3.00 ERA their value will skyrocket. Trades are as much timing as anything. But a few phone calls sure wouldn’t hurt.

  @brooksmd sweet. When the rebuild happens I’ll try to keep up with you guys. I enjoy a good rebuild. I’m no longer a Red Sox fan (was one growing up) but when they did the rebuild a few years back I enjoyed watching the trials by fire [with my dad] of the young guys. Jackie Bradley, Mookie Betts. Going from “are they good enough to play MLB?” to all star is a few years is a hell of thing.
