Actually, the game looked a bit like ours at first. Texas didn’t have such a huge lead, but played pretty evenly until just a few minutes left. Then UT missed some shots, had awkward turnovers, and Baylor cashed in.
Early in the game I thought Texas did a better job than we did of staying in front of B’s guards on defense. When B was missing we did great, but once their shots started falling we did not adjust well and failed to keep their speed in check.

@mayjay Baylor guards have been making plays at the end of the game. There were a few that were eerily similar in the Texas game vs the KU game. Texas playing decent d and a guy just rising up and making a tough shot. Not much you can do but tip your hat and think about why you weren’t up by more earlier. We had some guys doing that early in the year. Here’s hoping that comes back this month.

I thought Texas did better hedging those high ball screens and were able to disrupt flow a lot better then KU did against them.

Duke and Coach K had a little setback yesterday. They expected UNC to foldup at the star-packed gala at Cameron. Felt like karma to me. I’m surprised we were even able to watch any of the OT in our game because ESPN was clearly more interested in showing Duke’s pregame footage. It’s sickening.
Coach K and his assistant coaches showed how petty they can be after the loss. Gheez… kids… man up! What a bunch of pussies. Poor sports. If this happens to Self on his last game, he will step up to the microphone and tell a joke.

It was sickening , ESPN was how you put it . I mean we all know how far they have always had their nose up K’s ass but this was even worse - should re name College game day to - - DUKE kiss ass day. Had to laugh for a bit it was showing that the Duke/N Carolina game was on the ESPN APP. - -then once they found out OT for KU/Tex - it was like Ewww what we gonna do - - and BAM Duke /N Carol can be seen on ESPN 2 lmao - -holy bat stink - - It was a perfect Saturday KU Women & Men both win And duke gets beat in their own rathole on his final day

FWIW, Chattanooga Mocs on ESPN @ 6, featuring Silvio De Sousa. He’s averaging almost 11 pts & 7 rebounds per game for them. Averaging about 20 min/game. 24/26 starts.

Wow. What a block. St Mary’s vs Gonzaga. Should be a good conference final. First time seeing St Mary’s this year. Looks like they have some guys who can guard Timme. Their PG is interesting. Solid but plodding.

St. Mary’s is a good program that’s makes the NCAA Tournament more than not in recent history. They’re style of play is very methodical and usually one of the slower paced teams of the country. They’re a legit top 25 team this season and deserve their ranking. They have non-confernce wins over Notre Dame and Oregon and only lost to Wisconsin by 6 and all of those games were in Maui. They also have wins over Bellarmine that just won the ASUN tonight.

Yes… they have a good program. I just don’t see them as a National Championship team. I do see the Zags as one.

Wow, some entertaining things happening after Little Boeheim was suspended for punching a dude during the game yesterday.
Jay Bilas going ballistic in junior’s defense. Insane. Big Boeheim must have mob ties or something, since everybody scared to criticize his kid for punching a guy. I don’t get it.
