  @JayHawkFanToo Yeah I know. That is what keeps me awake at night. We seem to want to make a run of the mill player look like a first rounder in the draft. We need to stymie everyone and not let someone get their confidence going. ROCK CHAALK!!!

  I just think Carlton needs to be more committed to staying focused the entire time he is on the court. I think his biggest issue is focus. One sure sign is his inability to GRAB the ball! So many rebounds are right there in front of him and he can’t grab the ball. The ball is like a greased pig. Players don’t just have bad hands. His hands are fine. His ability to stay in deep focus is the problem. We are a very different team from last year. The ball moves quicker and our offensive aggressiveness is shown in more complex ways. Drives coming from all over the place, etc. So Carlton had to raise his level of focus just to stay even on where he was last year. It looks like he is slowly catching on to the pace and other factors. Just not sure he can accomplish much in as many as 6 games. A huge help to his focus is adrenaline. When he came back from his last suspension, he had a monster game. That was adrenaline talking. The adrenaline not only helped his focus but also helped his motor. So… HOW do we get his adrenaline back up to that level for every game moving forward? Figure that one out and we will benefit bigly.

  @hawkmoon2020 Ya as I mentioned earlier, I always pull for all Big 12 teams when it comes to the NCAA tourney, mainly because the more wins we get, the tougher our conference looks. This way people talk smack, we have something to back us up with, we have to stop the early collapse of our league in this tourney. - -Hopefully this is the year. - I truly believe K-State will beat Cincinnati , they really struggle to score, I also believe Oklahoma State has a good shot against Michigan, they was just talking on Sports Center like Michigan is like the 3rd worse defensive stats against the shooing pct of the opposition - -and it should be an awesome matchup with Okla St back court, Evans could do some real damage. - -Carrol go off, Forte go off. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  There have been a lot of highs and lows this season. To me, the highs outweigh the lows by a considerable margin. BUT - I desperately want Frank to cut down the nets this year. A lot of people probably know that I (and many others) had a man crush on Perry Ellis last year, but (sorry Perry) Frank takes that to a whole nuther level. He works so dang hard, he never loses his cool, he almost never makes stupid mistakes - he is the embodiment of what I want every Kansas player to be. Cut em down Frank!!

  Puke will go down 2d or 3d round, mark it. They are done. The Gonzaga boys have no idea what they’re doing. They will be the first #1 seed out. UNC has potential, but I don’t think they have the stamina to stay too long. The only two experienced and capable teams are Nova and KU. We both have our problems, but overall, have what it takes to go the distance.

  Based on true seeds, KU has the easiest path to the Final Four. Louisville is the weakest 2 seed (8th overall), Purdue is the weakest 4 seed (16th overall), Iowa St. is the weakest 5 seed (20th overall), Creighton is the weakest 6 seed (24th overall), Michigan is the 2nd weakest 7 seed (27th overall), and Michigan St. is the 2nd weakest 9 seed (37th overall). Oregon is the strongest 3 seed (9th overall), but the reality is they’re probably the weakest 3 seed with Chris Boucher’s injury factored in. Miami is the 2nd strongest 8 seed (30th overall), but they’re one of the most offensively challenged teams in the field. So according to the NCAA Selection Committee, we have the weakest 2, 4, 5, and 6 seeds and the 2nd weakest 7 and 9 seeds.
