@Blown Henry Iba was at least a contemporary of Rupp.
Iba produced Eddie Sutton who ultimately co-produced Bill Self with Larry Brown. Self was a graduate coach with Brown at KU. You forgot to put Self under Brown. Sutton produced Self as a player, and influenced his coaching. However, Brown would be ultimately credited with the coaching tree that produced Self. Sutton produced his sons?
Here’s a little unknown fact about Sutton…He was born in Bucklin, KANSAS. Damn, all bball legends come from KANSAS in some way. Hell, even John Wooden stopped off during the construction of Allen Field to help build the legendary Phog Allen Field House on his way to UCLA.

@truehawk93 Self didn’t play for Eddie Sutton. Eddie Sutton was coaching Arkansas when Self played at OSU under Paul Hansen. Self was an assistant for current Florida St. coach Leonard Hamilton at OSU longer than he was under Sutton. Self can be branches on the Larry Brown, Eddie Sutton, and Joe B. Hall tree which connects back to Rupp which connects back to Phog.

@Texas-Hawk-10 Oh that’s right. I forgot about Hansen. Well, you just furthered my point. Anywho…
I also forgot about Karl under Smith. So, it’s interesting how much influence Kansas bball had on soooo many coaches, great coaches too.

I think this is relevant. In 5 days all other college teams and all the media toads will be focusing on our “3 Amigos.”
Perfect! Meanwhile, Mr. Glue will quietly do his thing… being in the driver’s seat on win after win…

Mostly correct; however, Wooden did not work on AFH. He came to Lawrence in 1927 while being recruited by Phog Allen and worked on the North End addition to Memorial Stadium and long before AFH was even a concept; the construction of AFH began in 1952 when Wooden was already the HC at UCLA.

They did in large the envelope

@JayHawkFanToo That’s right, it was Memorial. Thanks for the correction.
