  If you wanted to grab every single rebound Ryan Robertson as a 6’6” point guard would be alright. (Nice stroke too). You wouldn’t need too much for scoring out of the point and Jacque was the best pure point I can think of, but that lineup could use some perimeter shooting. Mario is the consummate winner and would ultimately be my choice as well though.

  This is reminiscent of previous tourney games where we come out hot and blow a team away…then lay an egg in the next one. I’ll save myself the emotional pain of getting into specifics. Here’s hoping Udoka returns to help us kick Kentucky to the curb.

  Yeah, I watched the game last night. I watched Wisconsin play just before and knock Villanova out of the tourney again. KU-Wisconsin is looking good for the final. It’s all very real.

  Yes… this team proved several times they could beat teams who shot hot from treysville. So easy to imagine them thrashing the field to the trophy… improving with every game… a truly great road team! I think the NCAA has plenty of other problems to worry about right now besides crowning a champion. They live off the earnings from March Madness… and some of that money works it’s way back to universities… who are also in deep trouble! I wish the only bad news was we didn’t get our chance to prove ourselves in March, but we all have a lot more to worry about right now.

  @drgnslayr Bill Self has enough of a history of losing in the round of 32 and Elite 8 that I will never fully trust KU to get past those rounds until it happens. That was also why the writer only looked at a single simulation out of the thousands the program he used ran. The way it worked was using the BPI odds, so basically imagine a 100 sided die and rolling it and whichever team popped up, that’s who moved on.

  Another year, another #1 seed, another early exit against a Virginia team we should have beat. It’d have been easier to cheer Tyus’ heroics had we been more successful, but I’m still in shock we got manhandled by Virginia like that.
