@justanotherfan Armstrong might not see all that many double teams because KU might legitimately have the best DLine in the Big 12. Daniel Wise is going to end up being 1st team Big 12 at the end of the year and Josh Ehambe at the other DE spot could end up an honorable mention as well.
This is KU’s best DLine since 2007 and will take a ton of pressure off a young and inexperienced secondary and mask some of their deficiencies.
I plan on going for ether this game or the CMU game depending on how my work schedule turns out. Too early for me to make a prediction besides pain for the redhawks. SEMO at least seems to be better than Rhode Island who was one of, if not the worst team in FCS the past few years.
Based on the negative experiences of many schools major sports teams that have jumped conferences the last 5-10 years, I hope KU can find away to stay in the B12, or merge a large portion of the B12 into a new division in the B10. If KU were to move by itself, or even with KSU, I suspect KU basketball would slide into mediocrity, or worse, as a conference newbie. The long time members of the Big 10 just won’t allow KU the same legacy advantages in politics and policy choices KU apparently enjoys in the Big 12.
Nebraska-became just another football program in the B10.
MU-became an SEC doormat.
Syracuse–left Big East for ACC and started losing more and got suspended from post season.
Louisville–once in ACC, it got Hookergate.
And so on.
There appears to be something about staying puts that minimizes the making of new enemies and the likelihood of skeletons coming dancing out of closets.
@Texas-Hawk-10 I’ll agree that MM was hard on his players and held them accountable for there actions. I have two friends that played on that team one as a walk on and one as a starter both from the same HS that said their HS coach was meaner than MM. They told me MM was an asshole but never did anything that bothered them, Perkins on the other hand they hate and claim is a snake that split up the team bye telling guys that ever got yelled at were being mistreated, said Perkins had meetings almost daily with players trying to dig up crap on MM. MM was fired because he had dirt on sweet Lew Perkins, the guy famous for ruining 2 university football programs in Kansas. But he is long gone and it don’t matter now i guess.

Thanks for the heads up on Andru Tovi. He’s from Aiea, Hawaii, which is part of Honolulu near Pearl Harbor. I watched some highlights of his play with Pima CC and he certainly is a big body at 6’3’’ and 330 lbs. Just like the famous quote you can’t teach height in basketball, you can’t teach big frame for linemen. Our football staff continues to impress me every week. RCJH
Well read an article about Devonta Jason in the LJW this afternoon rivals updated and Devonta is now s FIVE STAR WR. - -he has jumped from being ranked the 35th best player up the # 22 ranked player in the Nation.
Says this is the first ever five star Ku has gotten a commitment from . - -Although he hasn’t signed yet. - -And a lot thinking he won’t stick , but a comment said that he and Coroine Harris are pretty strong about KU on twitter, feeling is chances are Harris jumps in rankings also. - -I have this feel maybe that with their connection with Coach Hull and then on top of That with Lee being here and seeing how he fit in I think just maybe they might stick.
If they do think about the future possibilities in the future I know the staff is hitting Louisiana really hard New Orleans - - -Baton Rouge area, Georgia - -Texas - -Alabama really working the south.- -Keeping fingers crossed. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
When the City of New York alone recognizes 31 different types of gender, most of which I had never heard before, the “stereotyped version of gender” went out the window a while back…and it is not coming back any time soon.
