-
In case anyone cares, Duke landed Cooper Flagg.

After reading this article Three Names for sure to keep an eye on even /track , these are 2025 recruits BUT was mentioned that ALL THREE strong possibilities to re classify to 2024.
Probably the most encouraging one , sounding like strong possibility would be, as we have , and was mentioned by an insider saying keep an eye on KU. heard his name mentioned before but he is 5 * - Darryn Peterson 6’6 SF from Arlington Virginia , just got through a little bit back signing a deal with Adidas -which Ku is their big name School , according to an insider when ask- -said keep an eye on KU.
Other one is Bryson Tiller , just visited us last weekend for the Missouri game and will be at the Indiana game this coming Saturday see us again although Indiana is also on the list , still another legit shot. - -6’9 PF from Atlanta
Third kid is Joson Shannon, didn’t really give a lot on him just saying strong possibility of re classifying and KU heavy on him . - -ALL Three of these kids are strong towards re-classifying to 2024, and KU is right in the thick for all three
Then a fourth to watch is Bryson Tucker - -recently visited had been some talk about re classifying and joining KU mid Season but did’t work out but wre still there with him also. - All four of these guy really talanted players
-
I would thin Bryson Tiller would be leaning KU’s direction after watching team and coaches in action two weeks in a row. Any updates?
-
Bossi posted his camp doesn’t talk much about recruiting at all and has a relationship with the family but he doesn’t think he’s in a rush and will likely take more visits after this pair. He is already 18. He thinks he might be a bit overranked at the moment and after digging again on the reclass stuff he thinks he sticks in the class of 25
-
@BeddieKU23 18 year old HS jr. Did he take a Covid year?
-
Re-did 5th grade a few times
-
All 3 signees are having fantastic Sr seasons so far. Philon and Passmore have only improved their games and raised their stock IMO. Very impressed with all 3 and very excited to see how they fit here.

This is an elite class already. If they get another stud gord/wing as they plan, watch out.

18 is only one year behind as a junior. Not that uncommon to see these days.
-
Any info on this kid , seen we made his final five Schools. Jeremiah Fears , 6’3 Combo ranked # 44 by 247. - -Has Illinois , KU , Michigan , Ole Miss & Providence. as his final five.
So anyone herd anything on him ? - Is KU actually involved or is it more like him on KU ? - What’s his story ?
-
He’s the brother of the kid at MSU who got shot several weeks ago.
-
Sonon re-classifying and visiting KU Feb 3rd
-
So Sonon going to be a no show - - - -again -this makes twice.-- Siad still planning visit possibly against K/State- -time to say Ehhh maybe not, – Go 1000000000% more on Peterson

Looks like Tyson Grant-Foster is having a great year at Grand Canyon. Does he have any eligibility left? Looks like 2 years of medical red-shirt.

I think he will be going the professional route after this season. He’s Definitely on radars with the season he’s had. Imagine there’s a chance he could apply for a waiver if he really wanted to return
-
@Gorilla72 very happy for him

Joson Sanon to Arizona.

Man , and things just keep getting better and better. - -I know there was at least a little more then medium interest, seems like we just keep coming up missing lately.
-
Lots of players who played at a higher level will enter the portal after NCAAT. Perhaps a better caliber player. It will be interesting to see, especially Liam.
-
Guess Zona was willing to pay his ridiculous price. Good talent but have a feeling they overpaid as well

He’s a 3 and with Furphy likely coming back and Liam McNeely still likely, we’ll be fine at the 3 next year.

His price was such that you could get a proven player in the portal for the same price or less. Indiana and KU both said no thank you.

ya, your probably right. I agree with you on Furphy , just not feelin it as much with Mcneely now as I was

Watching a few minutes of Bidunga in the McDs practice scrimmage.
Only saw a few runs up and down the floor. Very springy! Left handed. Quick up the floor. Doesn’t have traditional big man size. At least not compared to a few other guys on the floor.

Legit rim defender , very athletic-- - -still work in progress on offensive but improving
-
Definitely not as tall as some but will play bigger due to athleticism, has some advanced 2nd jump ability to him, “that bounce” you can’t teach.
Definitely a slate to work with here. Not an OAD and hope we can develop him
-
I see off 247 that Ku picked up another CB prediction for McNeely – -gives them 3 , threw me off at first also saw that had KU @ 60% & Indiana @ 40 % for him - -First I thought well wait, Indiana is who he just de-committed from, ten realized he could always change his mind and still go back I guess- don’t think so but could.
For me though one of those CB’S was predicted by Swain , and his confidence level has really dropped–he did have a 6- - -now he listed down to a 1- -Tells me Swain is not thinking he lands here now.- Pretty telling for me anyways, the other 2 CB’S are from Maryland guys, projecting him coming to KU

Flory is frickin’ fast

Has a couple of nice flush’s – -block and ya gets up the floor
-
Not the best start for Liam
-
@rcjhdraft he’s use to a controlled game. You pass it u aren’t getting it back.
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 Hope he picks up defensive positioning and the offense quick enough that he doesn’t get the quick hook all year
-
It probably won’t matter but we really tried here on the first go round https://x.com/jeffborzello/status/1778139715016827117?s=46&t=c0LiaNrxev6XfT7LIH8dAQ
-
Flory Bidunga is 6’7 without Shoes, 6’8.5 with, 9’1 standing reach with 7’2.5 wingpsan. This is from the Hoop Summit game he’s competing in.

It’s all over the place now but Philon’s people are looking around.
-
I’d say more portal than anything, especially given Marko’s likely return
-
Philon >>>ej unfortunately the eye of talent is waining
-
@kuballin10 they don’t have much if anything to do with each other in this case
-
It will be a bummer if Philon bails.
-
Coaches bail, players bail. Guess it’s now the norm we live in
-
@BeddieKU23 For me it makes the loyal cats like Harris all the more endearing, warts and all.
-
@dylans That loyalty would be why he’s decommit ting. Losing a better pg that can carry the progrum next year for a 5th year of 8 ppg and 6 assist….i mean how could we ever replace such quality production
-
@kuballin10 And if they can’t beat out that what does it say about the “superior” talent? keep up your narrative buddy.
-
And who says it’s for sure done?
-
It is well known that Harris would be back this next year. Surely that isn’t the reason Philon is wavering. Hell Dejuan told me last year he was playing two more for KU and he doesn’t know me from Adam. Everyone knew Harris was coming back.

Yup. We need to develop a PG. Oddly just read an old Self quote that said “he can play some point”. Wonder if Self had plans to use him as an off guard more than a PG? Weird.
But, that must mean we have a portal PG locked up?
