Honestly we are seeing a big trickle down here not having Bryce. He might not be great on offense yet but he is the difference between having to play Tyon or not…

Again my friends don’t look for this team to make a deep run in the Tourney - probably sweet 16 tops. - Anything after that pure gravy. – I know MAYBE we should self impose a one year ban from the Tourney like Sweaty boy from Arizona - ya that’s what we need to do. - Avoid disapointment AND selfimpose - - ya that will work

WSU Shocker guards, even former players always play well against us. Reaves was by far OU’s leading scorer, 7/14 for 20 pts. Season average is 16 though.

You can’t think Dave seems like a great human and a mediocre basketball player at the D1 level. That kind of luke warm opinion is not welcome here.

Lol not welcome here - -OK I happen to like Dave , i will say a lot of times out of position , and slow several occasions, BUT also can help fir sure. - Where would we be without him today ? - - What about TCU without his 20/8 could of been in real trouble there too. - -He is not a great player by anymeans but he isn’t as bad as some try to make him out to be either

The turnovers were rough today, especially Jalen. Jalen also played tough, hit a couple big shots. He will continue to develop and be just fine. The biggest problem as I see it right now is a lack of good ball handling guards. We have a LOT of wings. If guys come back and the staff adds a ball handler next year’s team could be very good. This year, I’d be happy with a S16.

This is a weird team this year that’s hard to get a solid read on.
I guess that’s part of the relative inexperience of this team even those with experience taking on new responsibilities this season is creating a very inconsistent team.

I am a believer in Dave. I have been saying from the start that Dave is a double double caliber player. By no means he is at an elite level, however, he can still become Marcus M and even T-Rob type of a player.
His D needs improvement. His rebounding needs improvement.
Earlier in the season he was playing too fast, sped up and thinking too much. Now he seems to be playing more with a free mind. He is not sped up as much.
His Offense has improved immensely from last year. He has developed several good post moves. He has a decent mid range jumper. His FT is smooth.
Dave is a critical piece in this team’s success.

Re Dave: With the last two games, he has finally raised his BPM above 0. Hopefully a trend that continues.

If we get to the 2nd weekend of the dance this year, I would be ecstatic. That we are not going to win the conference I think is pretty obvious, with three or four losses we will come in second. Agree with @BShark, definitely need another scoring ballhandling guard next year. Agree with @jayballer67 too, hard to really get into any sports right now, just difficult to watch.
