The UFL had its draft in January; I didn't hear anything about it. Our man, Jason Bean was selected by the new team, Louisville Kings. The Kings play Birmingham on Friday, March 27 at 8 E on FOX. Jason is such a competitor, I think he will do well in the UFL.

I was looking at the Utah Jazz lineup for Peterson info and was glad to see Svi Mykhailiuk is on the team for his 8th NBA season. Svi was such a fun player and had an interesting background when he played at KU.

Shoot, I forgot to watch the game. QB Bean didn't have a great game and the Kings lost to Birmingham 15-13. Bean was 14/27 for 226 yds, 1 TD, 2 INTs, Ouch. He was also the leading rusher 5 attempts for 27 yds. The Kings only had 46 yds rushing so they aren't a very good team right now. But, I will watch UFL football instead of MLB. Great News: Jalon Daniels not only made the 53 man roster cut at Tampa Bay, but is the #2 QB to Mayfield. Wow.

Ugh, KU picked by the coaches to finish 3rd. And both St John's and Arkansas have higher preseason rankings. While I disliked the preseason number 1 tag, this is much worse.

Daniels being 5/10 21yds is disappointing. He's missed two open receivers. But, this is a good game to try to work out those problems.

I just hope this isn't a repeat of last year where KU was ahead until deep in the 4th Q of several games, then found a way to lose the games Ugh, so painful.

I'm sure these numbers are being crunched by every university, but Google reports Texas's football revenue for 2025 was $298 million with a net profit of $107 million. But, all the other Texas sports programs lost money, so the sports department shows a loss for the year. NIL funds come from a different pocket, but man oh man, $300 million of gross revenue. From a different source, Google reports KU's football revenue at 37 million for 2025. Say it ain't so, Joe. Like a new born pup running with the big dogs.
