In end of game situations I’m concerned who KU can rely on to make them. So far the only consistent FT shooters we have are Dotson & Dedric. KJ has good form as well but he doesn’t play much. Marcus routinely misses the first and neither Grimes/Vick get to the line enough to rely on. Team definitely doesn’t have the shooters.

They can have Sandstorm techno is horrible. I love that it helps whip the idiots into a frenzy. The mob mentality takes over and the f ku chant comes out so the whole nation can instantly identify the quality of character that is a KSU fan.

@mayjay Ah, that’s sort of a relief. I forgot. He had a big scoring night, but was not shooting a super high percentage to get his 40+, right? Well, Kruger is making it pretty clear. I’m not going to stop going to him till someone figures out how to stop him. Bill, here is another defensive challenge for you.

We shot like crap against UK as well but actually made an effort to defend someone while also rebounding the ball. Your effort has to be good day in and out, shooting comes and goes. “If you want look at how hard a team plays look at the rebounds” - Bill Self. Now we were only out rebounded bye 3 but gave 10 offensive rebounds, 2 of which lead to 3s. The defensive effort can be summarized bye the first play of the second half when Washington buries a 3 while we have no one headed for a close out and just watch. Darn he made it, guess we should do again.

@kjayhawks Looks like you will find that many of us share your thoughts on rap music. I have a number of friends that are into music and in the music business and just about all of them consider rap a form of expression but not necessarily music; frankly, I don’t know what to call it. What I find troubling is hearing kids repeating rap lyrics blindly and not really paying attention to what they say. I have asked many kids in the past if they really have given a thought to the lyrics and once they do they are shocked by what they have been parroting. In many ways a form of subliminal message that desensitizes kids. Definitely well beyond what my generation would consider acceptable. I am not saying that all rap is extreme. I believe Will Smith was a rapper , once upon a time, that was relatively tame by rap mainstream standards and I am sure there are other but seems like the great majority are not. Just my personal opinion and do not expect others to share my opinion.
