Because it’s my lunch break, got to watch what’s on, and I just saw one of Coach Cal’s brilliant players block a shot that came off the backboard awkwardly, a foot to the right of the goal, and bouncing away from the goal go up and swat it back at the backboard for the easiest goaltending call of all time.

The floor in KC is making my eyes bleed. NCAA has one of the best sports leagues out there and they go stupid with ridiculous paint jobs. I hope KU loses tonight so I don’t have to watch another game of this tournament on that ugliness. Well not really.

Sticking with that theme, the Big 12, which uses Roman numerals for its logo, plastered XII(s) all over the floor in a style resembling a Magic Eye illusion.” Yormark losing points by the dozens in the court of public opinion with the way he’s ruining our conference.

Iowa St COULD be in real trouble today with BYU. Lipsey is hurting with a Groin issue , shoulder issue , thumb issue - -& Gilbert still dealing with a groin issue, not saying whether they playing-- playing limited or what- - Gibert sounds less likely again not playing or playing much

BYU looking good early. Iowa State defense causing disruptions but BYU lights out from three and it feels sustainable at this point

Not surprised. BYU is perhaps the hottest team in America having won 9 straight and 13 of their last 15 dating back to February 8th. Very dangerous team heading into March if they continue to run the table.

They play that five out . really spread the floor and not afraid to pull a quick three from anywhere, Made-Eighteen threes. No way would I want to see them in the NCAA’s

18 threes and no one made more than 3! That’s so hard to guard. They’ve been super hot lately. The blowout over us is just the tip of the iceberg for big wins they’ve had.

I half dread and half gravitate toward every opportunity to listen to Jon Scheyer talk. It never fails to amaze me how dull, labored, and vanilla every word out of his mouth is.
It is painful and hilarious that we all pretend he is conveying any useful information.
Adults in peanuts cartoons say more.
Cats in youtube videos are more expressive. Much more.

I hate Duke… but I’m bummed out on their loss of Brown and Flagg. Hate to see guys go down anytime but especially in March. Can’t wait for Flagg to go pro so I can become a big fan!

Only Duke player I ever thought was halfway OK was Grant Hill.

I was warming up on Jayson Williams coming to the Bulls until he violated his contracted and ended his career in the motorcycle accident and harmed the Bulls chances, but it led to them getting Captain Kirk, so I was happy to see him in Chicago.

This afternoon Wisconsin blitzed UCLA with 19 3 pointers tying the BIG tournament record. They have the BIG reg season record from earlier this season when they made 21 against Iowa. So UW, the offensive juggarnaut now owns both major 3 point records in the Big 10. Greg Gard has completely changed the way he coaches and it’s really pretty fun to watch.

@wissox it would be nice if Self would do the same, I think he did in 2017 and 2018. I just wish we would make an attempt to guard the line.
