I forgot about Walton passing away - -forgot what his cause of passing was
-
Memphis giving U Conn everything they want. - -I think it’s just the two players Huner & Rodgers from Big 12 & Wichita St.
Mentioning Wichita St see they are 5-0 starting out, hearing they are to have a decent team this year, but then again look at their Conference who is in the AAC
-
U Conn better look out. – Memphis looks pretty salty - -Memphis up 10
-
Was cisse sp? At okie state?
-
Funny the second UConn plays a team with a pulse they get dragged
-
Little dustup on the court with a Coloradoesque flop after memphis dude got shoved.
-
Hurley getting T-d up in last minute of OT of a tied game is not two time championship type of stuff.
-
ESPN cries as UCONN gets knocked out earlier.
-
@Crimsonorblue22 oh ya your right. He was at Okie st
-
Hurley’s act of trying to intimidate the officials gets old real quick, he was on them from the opening tip. – Hunter HUGE game for Memphis, they look pretty solid
-
And now he’s complaining about the refs from his presser. What a clown.

I have to say it was a God awful call and I think Self may have reacted similar if it was him in that situation. Replay just makes it look comical.
-
UConn plays an aggressive defense and foul about every time on the boards and penetration. They committed 31 fouls to Memphis’ 21. I’m sure they got away with some no calls. Refs will typically call games tight to get control whatever that means and will adjust from first to second halves. A good coach will recognize and adjust. We have seen Hunter throw his attitude around and have to sit out early. The same goes for KJ and to a lesser extent Juando.

Gonna be a really good game at eight tonight on ESPN 2 between Auburn and Iowa St- -see how Auburn handle ISU pressure
-
Espnu
-
Iowa St looking really salty again -gonna be really hard to beat these guys in Hilton. Brucie and his Auburn crew getting taking to the wood shed so far
-
ISU taking it to them apparently. Just turned it on. Auburn coming back. Auburn clown just laid on the floor for a minute like he was dead. Everyone comes running over to him, he jumps up with a big smile waving to the crowd. If they call this a flagrant after that act it’s pretty bad.
-
Auburn making a big comeback.
-
@BeddieKU23 I don’t think it was that bad, or at least I could understand why the call was made. The UConn guy was probably making little contact but we really only knew that by benefit of the camera angle of that replay.
-
North Carolina with a 21 point comeback win against Dayton to avoid the losers bracket.
-
Watching it live I thought it was bad call. The benefit of replay made it look egregious IMO. I have no love for Hurley’s antics with the refs every game and he cost his team a potential win. I did enjoy his meltdown though.
-
Hurley being Hurley. listened to him post game and he was laying it on , saying for the ref to make that call at that point of the game was crazy. Saying that the Memphis player was making an half ass attempt to rebound the ball and Mc Neely had clearly takin the ball and he said again for the ref to make that kind of call at the point of the game was shouldn’t of been called.
Well Danny boy here is a news flash for you , doesn’t matter what point of the game you were in , doesn’t matter if it’s a minute after opening tip off , the closing seconds of the half , or the final minute of regulation, if the official calls the foul then it’s a foul OR I see they are suppose to say OH wait we are in the Danny Hurly segment of the game and we are not suppose to call anything against U Conn now - ya that must of been what it is. If they see it as a foul , then a foul , is a foul , is a foul sorry Danny that’s the way it is
-
@BeddieKU23 IDK, I just watched it again and it looks like OTB to me. BTW, seeing Liam there and through that game made me wish he’d picked us. He’s got a fire that is amazing.
-
Same I watched it again. I don’t see where McNeeley did anything but pursue the ball. He didn’t push his hands or body into the back of the defender to jump over him, he gets his hand higher then the defender’s hand when the ball comes off the rim. Not sure what the offensive player is supposed to do in that situation other than not pursue the ball. To me McNeeley outhustled the other player and got called for it. There was minimal contact which I think is my biggest issue with the call. Should have been a play on but hey it’s not KU so I’m fine either way.
Agree on Liam. He’s a really good player and wanted him at KU badly but such is life. His fit at Uconn is better then it’d be here.
-
Liam’s game translates well to D1 but I’d take Rylo and Storr over him.
Man Auburn will be a final 4 contender if they don’t fight too much amongst themselves. Crazy athletic and quick
Speaking of isu’s defense is awesome. It’s very much hack and grab so much that the refs can’t call everything
Unc survived……
