This is a huge game to improve on KUs away wins but this team will lock in and win this game and MCJr, Tre and Flory (if he can stay out of foul trouble). This game always goes down to the wire. Staying positive and cheering from my warm seat here in Des Moines, IA. Yes, DP won't play but it's better for him to rest all of next week since Game Day is coming to Lawrence next Saturday. Dybantsa vs Petersen is more of a draw than Silo Tech in my opinion.

@stoptheflop Peterson not playing tonight is probably a big influence on that line along with KU being 2-3 on the road and 1-2 in league play this season.

We win this game and finally erase the last 2 yrs of disappointment in losing to the farmers. I hate to hear the Wabash Cannonball playing throughout this game and we don't need a court storming from them this year. Already had one at WVU don't need one here.

It will come down to Flory. If he plays well we probably win. If he plays poorly we almost certainly lose

Will be watching from an ice covered region. Any odds on the FKU chant???? Such low lifes. I think we win without DP and I would rather he get this whole next week rest to be ready for BYU. Watching them now. We can't look ahead to them either. Need to shut up the kitty cats from the get go.
My Hawk to Rock Chalk player tonight is the DAWG MC. I think he understands the rivalry and will thrive in that atmosphere.

What's the weather like out there in the Sunshine state? It was -36 up at my parents house this morning. We were 36 degrees warmer at 0, so I went cross country skiing.

Dybantsa just went over the 40pt mark a few minutes ago. He's going to be a problem for KU next Saturday so let's hope Petersen is healed enough to go head to head with him.

Council Jr is going to have a great game. He loves these atmospheres. But Flory has to stay out of foul trouble because KSU will go after him and Tiller. I agree the bench will have to come through tonight. This will be a team win tonight.

Jason Bennetti life long Sox fan who jilted us two years ago and went to detroit. Great announcer though. Has overcome cerebral palsy to achieve the pinnacle of sports broadcasting. He's still young. Another Illinois guy on the mic too, Laphonso Ellis of East St. Louis and then UND because U of I has rarely been able to recruit great instate players besides Bill Self. Pretty good broadcaster. They'll be a good listen.

Perhaps a small lineup getting most of the minutes - alternate Mari and Elmarko just attaching themselves to Haggerty - don't slough, don't help. Make him inefficient...
