@DoubleDD
we will need both and the competition can only make them both better. I think its encouraging that Greene is expected back on time and at full health. No red shirt needed, doesn’t help KU this year which is the only thing that matters.
I read on the .com that Svi has put on 15 pounds since arriving last summer. That’s great news and seems like an ideal weight area for him. Glad to know that he worked on his game while he was home.
@wrwlumpy It’s because of your cookie settings. You were on a web page with something for sale and your cookie settings are going to show that on any page that has banner ads until you go to another web page with stuff for sale such as Amazon. Then it’ll switch between those products for awhile.

Just having a little fun with some of the organizations emerging to “clean up” UNC, when there are practically Basketball House of the Rising Sons appearing to prosper across this great land of ours.
Imagine busting a school in the chops for TRYING to keep some of these basketball players eligible and attending classes, while other wildly successful programs running long stacks apparently don’t even make them go to class at all and make sure they shuffle off to the pros without anything more than some good eye-hand coordination with video games.

Coach Williams followed Brown at KU and he built his reputation as KU coach and then he enhanced it at UNC by winning 2 NCs. I am sure Coach Brown’s record would have been better at either level, particularly college, had he stayed put in one place. Since he did not, his record at both levels is fairly pedestrian and now he is pretty much out of time to dramatically improve it.
@Lulufulu
I feel the same. Every time I saw him I saw just a bit of Scot. Not much, but in his face… and that is enough to constantly bring back memories of Scot at Kansas and in the NBA, where he incorporated his “samurai” impressions.

Yes… it looks like football will take the major hit.
I recall several years ago a statement made by the NCAA concerning punishments. They said they were going to lighten punishments and turn away from the “death penalty” type of hammering on programs because they thought too heavy a punishment could have a more-severe impact than they intended. I believe they referenced SMU football on that one.
This “redirection” was focused towards the blue blood programs so they could be saved and (more important) their revenue streams preserved.
It is all about $money$!
@globaljaybird I agree. I never advocated someone else giving up his scholarship for Chukwu. I just mentioned it as a possibility. It makes as much sense as chasing someone off the team, which I like even less.
@HighEliteMajor
Matt is biased but he’s a KU recruiter so I have no problem with his one-sidedness.
He is though the most connected guy when it comes to 2 recruits in 2017, Michael Porter & Trae Young both of which we have serious interest in. He’s well connected with their families so sometimes Matt is actually going to know something.
