  Unfortunately not making it back to the promised land, but I should be able to see KU 4 times this year. I got lucky and was able to get UNLV tickets the day they went on presale. I was just checking to see the on sale date becayse it said mid-October when I checked in August, so apparently Oct. 6 is considered mid-October now. So now I’m waiting for December to roll around so I can get Baylor, TCU, and Texas tickets. I know TCU tickets go on sale Dec. 19 for anyone interested and capable of going and UT and Baylor should be going on sale around that time as well.

  @approxinfinity Thanks and I believe quite devoutly in a Christian sky God. It’s the wet ware that was around, when I came along. And it works for me. And if I had been born in Brooklyn with Russian immigrant parents, I would likely believe in a Jewish sky God, or an Roman Catholic sky god, or a Russian orthodox sky god . Or if I had been born in the Arab community is suburban Detroit, I probably would believe in an Islamic Sky god. And they would work for me and I would probably secretly believe that I was not the chosen and the others were not infidels for believing what they believed, just as I do today, though publicly peer pressure might occasionally make me have to say such things to get the whole sale price, or to get my child a good education, or a good job, or marry into a respectable family, if he/she wanted such things. All will be well and all manner of things shall be well.

  I hope this year we can come together as a fan base and stay focused on the big prize… winning another National Championship! Our strength lies in our diversity, both in personalities and ideas. Let’s hash it out like we always do, but let’s show great respect for each other and everyone’s ideas. We only have to flip on the tube to experience nasty politics and a country battling with cohesiveness. Let’s be the aberration from that. Let’s become the example of TEAM SPIRIT! Let’s show our players and all fans across the world what BEING A TEAM is all about! That doesn’t mean we steer away from challenging dialogue… it just means we stick together as a team with the “going gets rough.” This is what we want from our players. How can we want that if we aren’t willing to set the example?

  @Hawk8086 yeah I don’t know either. Just snowballing ideas. With some of the rumors though I wonder if Bragg would get the start?? I’m not saying these changes are due to the loss. Just due to the game itself. Could the proverbial light have been turned on for Bragg and now it’s time to see if he can handle it shinning on him? At WVU definitely not the place to give a new starting spot. But at home against TCU might be. I don’t think Perry will play the 3 starting. Just might happen within the game. I’m just ready for this game to begin so we can move on forward.

  @Crimsonorblue22 Tulsa knew of his problems in Florida and apparently knew of the problems at MUs as well and they still hired him; they only have themselves to blame. Anderson seems to be decent guy although I am not sure he was ready to take over a major program…if you can call MU that. Amazing how Haith stays one step ahead of the law and seems to land on his feet every time…he must have taken the squid’s on line class…

  @hawkmoon2020 - As a Jayhawk, I feel disappointed and embarrassed when we were played down by #11. I would rather we stayed at top-10. Guys appear to play harder when they’re playing higher ranked teams (not in WVU case, though).

  @jayballer54 I understand where you’re coming from, and I’m not in anyway projecting that you should stop posting. In fact I enjoy your posts. I’m also not accusing anyone of making excuses for KU losing. Yet Duke losing to Clemson has no bearing on KU’s recent lost. Saying well this team or that team lost is no way bears in meaning or truth in why KU laid a stinker of a game. The Great Wizard once said, not in these exact words. “It’s doesn’t matter what our opponents do it’s what we do before the game and in the game that will decide the outcome”. Rumor is one time the Wizard gave his game plan to the opposing coach and said good luck on stopping us. Like I said, I never understood why some think that another team loses a road game or that game that somehow that justifies KU losing. I’ll be the first to admit I’m not a level headed KU fan, because I think they should never lose. In fact I have dreams and hopes that one day KU will just run the table all the way to greatness. Level headed KU and basketball fans conclude what UCLA accomplished can never be duplicated again. Not me.

  @wissoxfan83 Wiggins is never going to be a big assists guy because he’s a finisher, not a facilitator. His rebounding is partly a product of his stone hands and struggling to corral the ball, he struggled with this at KU as well. It’s also partly because of his role on the T-Wolves. He’s the guy that leaks out on loose balls and missed shots so they don’t put him in a position to get many rebounds as well. He could probably be a 4-5 rpg guy if that was his role but it’s not. As for the team itself, it’s a really young team, but they have a solid nucleus that will make them a playoff team in a couple of years if they stay together. Wiggins has superstar potential, Rubio is becoming a pretty good PG now, Zach LaVine is good young player, and Karl Anthony-Towns looks like he’s going to be a good one. You also have Kevin Garnett and Tayshaun Prince who are good veteran presences to have. Garnett’s work ethic and intensity is a great thing to have for all tge young guys and Prince has won a championship and is a solid on court leader for these guys. This is a good young team with a couple of great mentors that has a bright future.

  Coach has had at least one brain fart each of the last couple of seasons in a game where he does not change his way of doing things. He KNEW they were going to press. He KNEW Mason/Selden/Greene/Svi/Lucas/Traylor weren’t making it any better yet he did not at least TRY putting in Vick/Bragg/Diallo. Maybe Coach wants the players playing the worst to suffer as much as he is. Better be ready for our “Topeka YMCA” rematch Sat. Don’t forget how badly that game was played/coached.

  @Crimsonorblue22 We missed lots of open shots. I can’t attribute that to having made some early. What I was noting, and now some have pointed out, number of inside baskets was miniscule. Guess we give credit to WV for such a swarming defense all over the court. They challenged everything.

  @HighEliteMajor Just to clarify, didnt mean it to sound like our guardplay was a problem this year–only was saying guard play in this 1 game (Frank + Wayne) cost us. And poor positioning by bigs.
