  @drgnslayr You could be right. @mayjay Maybe, I never saw a ton on ether, but JJ was talked about almost daily on espn for being stupid but not a rapist. I think its all part of the east coast media BS, same with UNCs fake classes. Anything to hate schools outta their region and at any cost fact or fiction.

  @dylans I’d like to see people in KC start banning the Star for their ridiculous, juvenile behavior. I know several of their staff personally… and I’m letting them know how wrong it was for them to head up a lynch mob against us. Rich is their photographer that attends KU games. He’s the tall guy with the beard. Known him for a long time. He likes KU basketball so not a fair target of our rage.

  @Texas-Hawk-10 I want Ed Hightower in this game. For those of you who do not remember, he was the ref at the '88 and '08 Finals…worked out well for KU.

  In a less formal setting, that’s a perfectly fine question to ask that probably gets a really good sound bite. Big 12 Media Day is an example of a more appropriate time and place where that question gets a better response.

  @wissox just some young girl on Dr Phil who made a catch phrases famous using the words “catch me outside how bat dat” and for some reason it went viral, for no good reason. Now people say it all of the time either to imitate, make fun of or to just be stupid. To hear Kevin Harlan be on the up and up on something so trivial as this young lost teenage girl was just pure genius to me.

  @approxinfinity It’s taken me LeBron’s entire career to get to the point where I can stand him. I’ve softened up on him because of his level of commitment to Ohio. It has helped me deal with all his ego moments and tantrums. I know how hard it can be to see another idea when a strong vision comes into mind about it. I’m there constantly! All I want is a fair share of fair calls. I have no desire to hustle another team out of calls that we don’t deserve because we tricked the refs to make a bad call. I guarantee you that I’m positioned in this to later say, “I told you so” if we have the horrible situation where we get ripped off down the stretch on a call that costs us the National Championship. If that happens, then suddenly everyone will understand what I’m barking about and suddenly everyone will understand the difference between “selling a call” and “flopping.”

  @Crimsonorblue22 I didn’t finish, but the way he was talking he was sounding pretty positive. Interestingly the way he started his podcast you’d think I’d listened to it and started this thread because he started with basically the same question. Maybe he read my question and turned it into a podcast!

  Well they have different writers you know and this one I posted on another thread had enough sense to make the Badgers and Jayhawks #1 seeds, and KU the #1 overall.   I think what you folks are referring to are KU reactions to MSU trash-talking that was going on early and often throughout the game. Sample: Bridges trying to intimidate Frank (“Get up, Boy”). MSU needed to do that because they were out-talented and out-experienced and must have felt vindicated that, with the “unseen hand of the market” they were able to hang so close to an obviously superior team.
