  @drgnslayr-Every great Self team in transition seems to feed off their defense. And offensively playing inside out I’ve actually witnessed some true hi lo lately, with the 3 guards hitting open outside shots. Like Self says, “You gotta make shots,” but I’ve just been salivating for play like this all season. Let’s hope they’re going to peak at the precise moment again & we can keep all these guys injury free for about another 6 weeks. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.

  @globaljaybird “@drgnslayr_Cal is continually on record saying that conf titles don’t mean anything to him. No surprise there…” I’ve heard him say it with my own ears and I still can’t believe he said it. What a stupid comment to make… very short-sited! And this coming from the guy who is reaching for perfection! Ha… what a joke! Amazing that we have the same overall record this year (with Kentucky), but we are ranked 9 or 10 spots ahead of them. I guess the rest of the country doesn’t recognize all that perfection in Lexington!

  @drgnslayr love your picks! Want to add to it. Greene had some valuable minutes, I like him! Wasn’t sure what he did on that free throw. Even though we sat in the nosebleed section, I thought the refs were awful, felt like they were jr high refs! Don’t know if it’s been mentioned, the band was playing, “Hey Jude” while Tharpe was being interviewed. Couldn’t figure out why til they got to, na na na na na na na… Awesome!!!

  @jayhawkeyes That was my favorite part of the “throw down” as well. Selden was going crazy and I loved it! It’s sucha joy to watch our guys balling out and just having fun. I thinkt hey were more excited by the play than Tarik and i like the fact he barely paused before running back up the floor to play D, only to follow that up with a monster OOP

  @wissoxfan83 Yes, great game for TRob filling in for Aldridge. The monster block was a turning point in that game. Marcus had a very dubious clear path foul called on him that was very costly. Kief is playing great and Marcus is making progress as well. They are combining for about 23 point and 10 rebounds per game, Ben McLemore started and played 36 minutes; his stats don’t look that good but he is getting playing time because of his defense.

  At KSU, Hartman was to basketball what Snyder is to football. He got a few outstanding players and a bunch of role players to perform, as a team, above their individual talent. I have great respect for both.
