  How things turnaround in college BB is amazing, a few months ago we were looking really good regarding our depth in front line and now we are thinner than a razor. At that time Self most likely told him that he will be 3rd or 4th option, can’t blame either one, decision made sense for both parties.

  @HighEliteMajor In his case, it would appear he has serious psychological/addiction (?) problems that are now considered medical and he can likely get a one year medical red shirt. Too bad, he seemed to be such a nice, mellow young man that could play the piano and, if I recall correcty, play chess as well. Hopefully he gets his head straightened up and uses this God given talents in a good way.

  I watched much of that 76er/Thunder game. Made me shudder, the obvious body discomfort which JoJo is experiencing. They say he can barely practice most weeks, and spends hours on the massage table. Yet he plays like a behemoth. Remarkable talent for a guy who has spent so little time on the practice and game court since he picked up a basketball. The Kansas connection makes of him a real joy to watch. Not much of an NBA fan or follower, I always try to tune in to 76er contests. Simmons, too, is an extraordinary young talent.

  If Billy gets cleared and or De Sousa, his PT would’ve been short lived here anyway. It’s hard to go from a big dog in Highschool to a bench warmer in college. Kid just wanted to play ball, don’t fault anyone in his deal.

  @Lulufulu In his 3rd & 4th years of college while at KU. Played 2 at UMiss, sat out at KU (injured his knee in practice), then played last year. He graduated on time, so could transfer & play immediately since he had a year of eligibility left.
