@Jethro Crazy to think that if he gets to play we have him instead of a midseason reclassed Silvio De Sousa on that FF team. That Nova team was a total wrecking ball, but I do wonder if he could have played D better than Doke for us that game in a small lineup…

@cragarhawk I did think you meant KU. And you would have been right. Odd thing, a tourney with lots of chalk, means the seeding was perhaps done more correctly (at least arguably). But the games have been really boring either way as you mentioned.

@cragarhawk It is critical to hold serve at home and KU is 1 game down already, any road win against the other top teams would be huge.

@Crimsonorblue22 KSU did us a real solid a couple of years go when they beat then top ranked OU.

You have to be careful when reading stuff from the likes of Lunardi. He’s not a bad guy by anymeans. He just works for ESPN. The east coast sports network. Also lets not forget ESPN owns the ACC lock, stock, and barrel. If not for ESPN I’m not sure the ACC would even be around anymore. So it’s only nature that the talking heads of ESPN would protect their investment. After all a paycheck is money.

@cragarhawk Jayhawk Brother I’d be there to help but I have a feeling the commute would kill me. Sorry. Feel your frustration. Can’t believe the HS coach hasn’t stepped in somewhere and said, " Hey this is what I’m looking for when these kids get to highschool." ?? Maybe I’m off in my thinking but you’d think he’d want them knowing different concepts of the game, fundamentals and so on so he doesn’t have to teach them and can start coaching them into te program right away.

@BeddieKU23 He is a sophomore now so he would have to sit one year if he transfers. He is not ready for the NBA now but could be in one year; his best bet is to grow up and stay at KSU, but I am not sure how that would work with Weber. I bet KSU wishes it still had Martin whose team just eliminated Missouri last night and sent them to one of their worst seasons ever…not a good time to be a MU fan, not that there ever is such a time

Stuck in Columbus on an unexpected business trip, I’ve been pacing in my room as I came to the realization that for the first time since 2001-2002 I won’t make it to a home game in AFH. Should be at the Texas and WVU games, but now have to settle with a Purdue /Ohio State fix. All the while knowing there is no cure for the phog withdrawal shakes even with the excitement of seeing another college bb venue. Even worse, ISU started pulling away so I shut the game off, then on, then off, then back on. I knew I’f Baylor lost the streak was all but dead. Now I can rest easy knowing the worst that can happen this week is seeing Thad Matta whine like a crybaby.
