Other Games Tonight
-
UM getting the type of treatment we get at WVU right now
-
UK got dicked tonight.
-
Duke loving by 15 points with 16 minutes left. Can they pull it out? Will the GOAT Zion take all upon his shoulders? The tension is oh, so high! (Sarcasm meter is peaked)…
-
@Gorilla72 Did you hear Dykes say that Dook didn’t get into Louie-ville until 12:30, and they were “off”? The game started at 9 PM. That might be the lamest excuse for getting your ass kicked I’ve ever heard.
-
Michigan goes down. Got hosed by the refs all night. One of the roughest games I’ve seen all year.
-
God, was Louisville bad in the last 6 mins. Stupidest sign seen since the KSU “birthday party” sign: ZION CAN’T DUNK
-

ya I saw that sign too , I was thinking to myself- -man when Zion bounces that ball off your head after power flush - -he hands the sign back and says – HERE’S YOUR SIGN - -beyond stupid
-
@mayjay that maybe above UKs “Kansas’s schedule is softer than charmin” in stupidity.
-
@mayjay Now if the sign said, Dedric Can’t Dunk, now that would have been more apropos.
-
Got a Couple of Questions guys. – 1st: - - How many here think Danny is in some serious trouble at being let go? - -I’m afraid he very easily could be out - -getting their ass kicked today by N Carolina – last I saw it was 68-34 - Would be nice to have him back as an ast working with the Big men - - but don’t think that’s going to happen - yet I think he is done at Wake after this year - -how do you al feel?
2nd - -Does smart make it another season at Texas? - -I’m not sure about him either. – ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
-
Danny should be fired. I wish he’d come back, but I think it might be likely that we see him end up at a smaller school instead as a HC.
-
Seen kind of interesting line today. - -They saying that Duke is looking to beat NC State for the 1st time since 2016 - -who would of thunk it lmao. – ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
-
@jayballer73 Despite being in the same conference, they have only played once each of the last two years due to the size of the ACC and having two divisions.
-
As always after trying to beat KU, TCU lost at home to Oklahoma

Noi was out and TCU played 7 guys. OU right back on the bubble somehow…
-
@Kcmatt7 Would take him back in a heartbeat as our big man coach. We have not been the same in that dept. since he left.
-
@Fightsongwriter I think, if this FBI thing ends up implicating Townsend, Bill would jump at the chance to get Danny. And I think it is a real possibility, however small the chances.
-
Wow Kentucky is spanking Tennessee like they stole something.

Kentucky starting to look scary GOOD
-
@jayballer73 Yea, UK is legit. They are just big and physical and when they get guys knocking down shots it’s lights out. They are going to be able to compete with anyone because they will not be intimidated and back down from any team.
I’m old enough to remember people on here saying they weren’t very good this year. @Kcmatt7
-
Huge injury for Izzo. Nick Ward out with Hand injury for Michigan St. Hairline fracture in his shooting hand. They are already down Josh Langford for the season. Ouch. Pretty much the equivalent of Doke going down late last year with the knee
-
@BeddieKU23 Saw this as well. If we can play decent ball down the stretch we might be able to sneak onto the 2 line and take Spart’y’s two seed. That might guarantee a spot in the KC regional.
-
Certainly attainable by winning out, both regular season and Big-12 champs.

KU jumping MSU doesn’t put in KC. KU would have to jump Michigan as a 2 seed in order to get to KC. If playing in KC is the goal, KU would be better off as the top 3 seed.
-
Here is how I think it ends up, obviously subject to change: 1- Duke, Gonzaga, Virginia, Kentucky 2 - Michigan (DC), Tennessee (Louisville), Kansas (KC), UNC (Anaheim)
I think MSU drops 3 more games and pushes them back with two games left against Michigan. I think UNC loses 3 to 4 more games and pushes them behind us with two games against Duke.
This assumes we can close out the regular season and not lose our first game in the Conference Tournament.
-
I still think KU crushes Kentucky with Dok. I was pumped about him being featured.
Luckily it wasn’t KU’s typical big man luck and his injury was early enough to try and change up the style of play in time for the tourney.
-
Wouldn’t it be great if this team pulled a “jayhawk lil engine that could 2012 team” remix and played UK for the NC, but Big Dave comes along just enough by then to be the deciding factor in our championship… Damn… Sweet thought. I guess the world needs dreamers too…
-
So who we think with Baylor and Iowa St? - - probably Iowa State - -they are playing at home right?
-
@jayballer73 yes it’s in Ames. Clones should win fairly easily.
-
@Woodrow Baylor up 3 with 3 mins in first half. But I agree, ISU probably pulls away in the 2nd half. Hope not, though.

Baylor by 4 at the half - - beating ISU by 10 on the boards - -but lie you guys say - -look out for the 2nd half - -Baylor has lead by many as 10
-
Baylor -hanging right there - -only down 1 wit 6:23 left - -how the hell Haliburton shoots that piece of crap 3pt shot is ridicilious ugly looking shoots it from the hip - kind of a fling
-
Baylor may just do this - -up 6 with 36.5 seconds left. - - I was kind of wondering if they might get this win
-
Da bears
-
That helps
-
They did it - - -They did it - -Baylor takes ISU at Hilton. - -that helps - -we got to take care of business. - - Baylor - -No Jake Lindsey - - No King McClure - -No - -Tristan Clarke - - - Mason not 100% - -big win for Baylor

yes it does, - -we just have to stay focused for our own - -Saturday is Monsterous

WOW! Baylor played like a team possessed tonight! Glad we got them at home to end the season. Might be (significantly more) worried if they felt like they had an NCAA birth on the line to end the season.
-
Drew should probably win Big 12 COTY all things considered.
-
@kjayhawks I refuse to believe that. Weber had to play Wade against WV. If you ever dealt with or know anything about foot injuries, they tend to linger. Maybe not in the moment, but the next day and beyond. I guarantee you he didn’t want to play Wade as much as he did in Morgantown. He may not wear down against us, but I’d be surprised if he closed the season out on strong note. Be even more surprised if he plays significant minutes in the NCAA beyond the sweet 16- should them make it that far which I fully expect them to. We’ll see. Should be fun!
-
@BShark if he finishes 4-1 hard to argue with that. He seemed very loose in his post game interview. Never seen that side of him.
-
@user_RCJH I’m guess you tagged me by mistake? Lol

only thing is - - Iowa State played them at home tonight too – no gimme’s in this league
-
Offensive boards
-
KSU lucky they played them w/out mason
-
That was a great game to watch. Back and forth in the second half. Both teams making big shots and Baylor never got rattled or backed down. Big time win for Drew and Baylor.
-
@jayballer73 agreed, no gimmes, but that doesn’t really bother me. Would you rather play them at home than in Waco…? Like the announcers said, they win tonight and they are all but guaranteed entry into the dance. That’s big! As a player,if you can’t get up for that you don’t deserve to be on the court. I. haven’t watched a ton of BU ball this year, but they played like it was do-or die. Baylor likely parlays this into a nice little run, but do they have enough gas in the tank to upset KU in Lawrence, on “senior night” nonetheless?”
-
@user_RCJH we played well and contained a healthy mason, til we put in 2nd stringers and they didn’t.

Thing is , Baylor lead almost the entire game - - - Iowa St make a run - - Baylor come right back - -Huge win for Baylor
-
As much shit as we give Drew, he does more with less than anyone else in this conference year in and year out.
