Since 2023 Kansas has defeated a top 10 team twice.

Couple of thoughts here friends, credit to this team and staff for shutting out the negativity. I think just about all of us on here were throwing in the towel. In 2019 we all wouldāve been pretty damn happy with 3 big 12 wins and 4 over all. Only 2 guys since 2000 have won more than 3 games in a season for Kansas football Mangino and LL.

Full credit for this win goes to KUās defense. Only giving up one TD for the game and a FG in the second half. Great job D. But, credit to BYU for holding our running game to 73 yds on 33 carries. Whatās up with Hishaw? Injured, doghouse? 2 yds on 3 carries. Oh my, now KU takes on the media hype machine that is Colorado football, which is playing very well at this point. 2:30 Sat on FOX. I sure wish this game was being played at Memorial Stadium.

Season hasnāt turned out as I predicted us being big 12 champs and in the cfpā¦.but win out - get a bowl and roll momentum into next season
JD6 back or Marshall at qb and keep stacking those recruits and transfers. We got something folks just might have been 1 year early on the old predictions

When is the last time anyone remembers the QB quick kicking? And who could have predicted it would hit the DB and be recovered by the good guys. BYU must be wondering what happened.

@stoptheflop Leipold said heās done that in a game 3 times (QB kick). Not sure if either of the other 2 were at KU. He said two of them have worked out really, really well. They practice that every Thursday since heās been a head coach.

Iām feeling bummed for not being able to watch either of the two KU games yesterday but extremely happy to see that KU stepped up big and knocked off unbeaten BYU at their home stadium.

@AsadZ Itās always a privilege to watch the Jayhawks, but the hoops game was kind of a snoozefest. Weāre just too good for a team like Oakland. Last year that team might have challenged us. The football game was great fun.

Now he needs to break out the punt/pass - where the punter underhand tosses the ball high so it looks like a punt. Then the gunners catch it and advance the ball or get interfered with since the other team thinks itās a punt that they have the right to. It only works if the refs are paying attention and the receiving team isnāt.

@dylans I think the BYU defender thought that was a pass the other day. Not sure if thatās our intent in running it but our guy was acting like a receiver too and defense was looking right at him and not the ball.
