I watched a bit of that game, the refs were not good. That was a physical game the refs were letting get out of control.

@KirkIsMyHinrich My complicated sports world includes Illinois as thatās where I grew up and while I will pull for them this program is a constant disappointment. One of the greatest states for producing talent and it continues to endure embarrassments like this. I was excited for the Brad Underwood hire, but not thinking he has what it takes.
Last spring when I was in the United Center for the elite 8 and they were announcing the players and coach after we won a lady screamed āFā¦ You Bill Selfā. I think Illinois fans recognize he was the one who was going to lead them to the promised land and theyāre still bitter about losing him.
But as bad as Mizzou looked against us, this result is just a shocker tonight.
That being said thereās lots of shockers going on in college hoops this year. If you just look up through this thread thereās plenty of evidence of a sort of parity in our great game.

Pretty good question to ask. I think he needs some kids to move on and we all know the whoās.
Iām wondering if they will get it together later on but so far it hasnāt looked good. Iām certainly not going to complain as his failure to win adds more separation in the all time win total

I tend to agree there. Iām not a fan of him but I respect him still. Not sure heās adapted to the game as of late.

Missouri also smoked Illinois. At this point, I think itād be safe to say Missouri is probably an at-large team at this point.

I root against UK even more than Mizzou. Even though our true rivalry is with Mizzouā¦ UK is on our level (except for class).
With that UK loss to Mizzou we gained one more game in the overall wins competition plusā¦ I just canāt stand Calipari. To me, he has always been a subpar D1 coach who only exists on recruiting.
Mizzou is a much better team after our beat down. I felt sure they would improve because beat downs tend to do that to teamsā¦ especially undefeated teams.

I canāt imagine Kansas having a group of numbskulls like that. I hate to inject politics in thisā¦ so I wonātā¦ I meanā¦ I wonāt blame a political party. I will just say that there is some pretty unintelligible people out there who live in a world of hate, disinformation, and now fueled by conspiracy theories. Noā¦ it doesnāt definitely mean GOPrs because Iāve known these traits in both parties. Iām bringing that group to attention because the threat you posted sounds like that type of crowd.
Do we have a large amount of these followers at Kansas? I hope not. I hope no one is talking about our coaches, players, and administration like this.
I hope people donāt respond to my post here with politics. I only mentioned it because it is constantly being mentioned in politics today.
