@StLJhawk these new faces young and old need PT
-
Storr is a lot like Terrance Shannon. Another year from now he might be a complete stud
-
Zeke’s pts have gone down since he’s been starting. But, the bench is getting more PT
-
Storr in his bag
-
Storr playing like this makes us a much better team
-
Hunter may not get his double double, needs a basket and a rb
-
Just had a feeling about Storr I think this counts as a breakout game.
-
This isn’t a game where we’re learning anything new. This is a game to work on specific things Self wants them to work on and get the bench guys some more minutes than normal. We’ll see how they look against Duke in 10 days.
-
Great passing leads to a Kease 3. That was pretty
-
Maybe not a lot to learn but some confidence and comfort with teammates to be gained.
-
Zach spotting

Amazing passing all around today.
-
-
Not a lot of these kinda games left on the schedule where we can play 10-11. Enjoying
-
A lot to like about depth. The best thing might be how it helps push the starters during practice.
-
@kjayhawks Man if only there was a way we could play Mayo, Rylan and Storr on the floor together……oh never mind I forgot that lineup is never allowed based on how incredible and irreplaceable our 4 man is
-
A closer look at Passmore and maybe we can see he needs a little more time in the oven.
-
I fear Clemence has regressed
-
@bskeet was thinking that too.
-
My son was in the Color Guard for the game today!
-
36 bench points
-
Love to see KJ SMILE
-
-
@bskeet so proud!
-
Great game and as happens so often year in and year out, good guys win again
-
@rockchalkjayhawk seems so young
-
Won a game where we were sleep walking by 21 and would have been more if Bill didn’t call off the dogs with 4 minutes to go.
-
-
Well , now we need the Foot Ball team to complete the Sweep today. - -The Ladies won their Volley Ball match against Baylor- -swept them 3/0 - -Basketball took care of business- -Now time for JD-6 and the rest of the gang to wrap it up----- - ROCK CHALK
-
@BeddieKU23 my theory worked KJ 24 minutes, KU wins by 21 haha
-
Shak looked really smooth in his minutes. Bill said he had a 5 minute limit. Can’t wait to see him full time.
-
Bill said post game he is playing too many guys and would like to have a 9 man rotation
-
@kjayhawks Hmm, he’s almost there. Clemence won’t be one of them, and Shak is still limited. That leaves 9: today’s starting 5, Storr, Coitus, Passmore & Bidunga. Once Shak is full speed, I guess he’ll have to make a decision, but he seems pretty close already.
-
@tundrahok I don’t see Passmore playing meaningful minutes especially when Moore is off of his restriction
-
@kjayhawks I agree. He was 9th in minutes today.
-
Juan Zeke Rylan KJ Hunt
Shak Storr Flory
Coit should be JCL type minutes by January
-
@BShark Hope we can see AJ get run for kj immediately off the bench and Shak get some for Juan while the other starters stay in
Bill hasn’t ran things that way yet so doubt it happens. Just shows another blunder with lineups he can’t see the forest through the trees
-
Mario RussRob Sherron Rush Shady Kaun Darnell Darrell Cole Rodrick
9 checks out.
-
Disagree he’s playing too many. Play your depth, injuries happen, if you can minimize the risk of injury with some of the guys right now for the long haul you do it. Injuries and guys getting worn down from too many minutes is a real thing that has happened to Hunt, Juan and KJ. We have 10 that belong, figure it out

He always plays this many early, especially in games where we will win anyway. He knows it will be trimmed by conference play but compared to last year the minutes for the big three should hopefully be down.

Easily the best thing we got from this game. Weird to have 3 competent guards. Team is as deep as any I can remember.

Yep, Shak would have started for us last year
-
Shot isn’t falling for Zeke lately but he still plays hard and impacts the game.
-
Good looks right on target. No worries. He’s so important to this team
-
Hunt is unguardable when we play four out
-
Not used to having guys outside of Harris that know what they are doing with the ball. Mayo being a legit playmaker and not just shooting the ball has been a real pleasant surprise. His film showed this but seeing him doing it against everyone so far has given me a lot of confidence in our playmaking ability. Harris was responsible for it all last yr and now we have at least 2 guys that are really skilled at getting guys good shots
-
@BShark Please tell the assistants to tell Bill because he doesn’t play those lineups with Hunt….

UNC game was more telling. Bill tightens up his rotation when the competition ramps up.
