Yeah, another good thing about OU and Texas heading to the SEC is that they get to beat up on Kentucky and Tennessee… should equate to a few more losses each year.

Worked out just fine though!
Bishop situation was more tied to Jalen. Bishop wanted to start and didn’t want to play the 5.

Gonzaga looked awful against Sparty and even worse last night. Either a sign of the times or they’ll look like usual Gonzaga later in the year after winning 20+ games against cream puffs

they got Kentucky Sunday --wonder who is gonna be worse. -Seems to me lately anyways that Cal is doing less and less with the talent he recruits. - -Something going on I think. Maybe lost control in the locker room - -something just doesn’t seem right. - -He has year after year after year always got top notch talent. I know the fan base there is pretty un happy, but then again it’s KENTUCKY FANS so to be expected. It’s just destroying them that we surpassed them in all time wins. I mean what do they expect ? - -After all we ARE the School of the inventor of the game I mean come on lo. - -Also the school where the rules to the game was written right ?

Texas A & M is getting all they can handle from Murray St. The Racers are up 10 with 6 min to go. Murray St is coached by Steve Prohm. Prohm looks very scruffy- like he’s on the tail end of a 3 day bender. I’m afraid his time as the Clones coach broke him.

What’s up with Colorado? Blew out 24th ranked Texas A&M by 28 today, and beat Tennessee by 12, but have also lost to Grambling and UMass.

Xavier is giving Indiana everything they can handle with 10 minutes left in the game. Sean Miller is doing a great job getting Xavier back to snuff. Remember, Miller said that Bill Self was the best coach in the game last year before we had won the national championship. Miller also said that Kansas was one of the best teams in the nation last year. So, no more Stubby Miller- now it’s Sean.

Baylor came out ice cold in the second half. Down 20 to UVA and outscored 27-4 so far with about 11:30 left.

Gonzaga is massively overrated this season from what I’ve seen of them so far. This isn’t tge dominant team they’ve had the last 5 or so years. Sweet 16 is probably their ceiling this year. I’d expect Kentucky to win by double digits tonight.

South Carolina and Stanford in OT right now in a 1 vs. 2 game on the women’s side. Stanford is going to lose because of a 5 second call, then SC missed both FT’s and Stanford got the rebound and called a timeout when they didn’t have any resulting in a technical and SC then hit both FT’s and ended up winning by 5. This was a great game throughout.

How about the early season schedule for Gonzaga? After today against Kentucky they have a first round game against Portland St. Then provided they win and a date with Purdue or West Virginia, and then probably Duke. They’ll play Baylor after Turkey days are done, and also see Alabama before Christmas. Of course the rest of their schedule sucks.

Michigan looked headed for OT against Ohio. Ohio misses potential GW shot and Michigan grabs rebound and Ohio kid fouls him 80 feet from his own basket. Michigan makes 2 FT’s. Michigan fans not too pleased with Juwan Howard. They should be going to OT but the Ohio kid lost his head. 17-8 foul count aids Michigan on their homecourt. Refs aiding ranked home teams against mid major visitors is nothing new of course, but it really shouldn’t happen.

Calamari might be the worst in-game coach in history. Their team is a mess- no spacing at all. They looked totally unprepared for the Zags.

Kentucky came into our house and absolutely steamrolled the future national champs. The underestimates of Cals coaching may be slightly exaggerated. That loss was why I was pessimistic almost til the end about our chances to win it all. I really had no confidence that we could get steamrolled by 20 points and be good enough to win a Natty.

@wissox I believe we had our worst game of the year. We were in a battle for 1st in the B12 when we played that game, and our coach said word for word that the game against 'Tucky was less important than the conference games coming up that week. Did Bill saying that before the game impact our effort? I think it did. Of course, some people tell me I’m all wet for saying that. But, we were looking to play Number 20 Iowa State, then Number 8 Baylor, followed by a date at Number 20 Texas as our next 3 games. And the game was preceded by our triple overtime victory over Texas Tech. So, in that sequence, we played Number 13 Texas Tech, then Number 12 'Tucky, then Number 20 Iowa St, then Number 8 Baylor, and then Number 20 Texas in a row. Run that Tucky game at anytime else in the year, and I think we have a chance to win.
I think them winning that game makes it even better that we won the national championship. AND we took away the all-time wins from them. Tucky also beat UNC by 25 last year. And they lose in the first round. I stand by my statement: Calimari is the worst bench coach in America!
