Seen this happen about half a dozen times already, kids who transferred from a school transferring back. Tyler Harris being the latest to do so. Weird.
Also Isaac McBride on his 3rd school already picking Oral Roberts. Kids going for the record by the time his career is over

He’s a very good player, and certainly addresses the “shooter” need for this team. I do wonder how he fits in to upgrade the athleticism of the team, though.

I’d wait on Ochai and Tyty. Other guys will go into the portal once draft feedback comes as well. Think we can do better.

Alterique Gilbert in the portal. The PG played for Wichita last year and had a decent season. Shooting numbers don’t move the needle but he’s a steady guard

I think we should consider all transfers that succeed elsewhere as Jayhawk success stories moving forward. Moving companies early in any career can provide upward mobility. We are lucky we are a destination school with a legacy, a top notch coach, nice facilities, a dedicated fan base and national media attention. Now if that attention could consistently be positive.

With the new rules, it will be damn hard for any school to not have massive turnover every year - atleast five or six players gone, probably being the norm.
