@mayjay - oddly enough, ASU is closer to the Grand Canyon. Better bars/night life and MUCH more attractive women. Uh, so a friend tells me.
Iām going to the ASU game, too. And a few beers in Scottsdale!

Trying to find an article on it but people are saying Bossi said he is down to Nova and KU. I can tell you that on JREās Rival page his interest for Nova and KU is set to āHighā and itās at āNoneā for the others.

Yeah I havenāt found an article yet, twitter doesnāt have much either but its reported Bossi reported heās down to the 2. I would imagine something would be released today.

I still think JRE picks KU but Nova has me pretty nervous. Too early to say anything definitive on Hurt, and weāre not really recruiting Chandler that hard.

The backup plan for JRE is Zeke, but the staff views him as a guy than can start in years 2-3, not a guy thatās going to be a KU level starter immediately.

I would not be disappointed in that result. Multi year players and both could have NBA futures.

I agree my friend. - I would settle for those two for sure. - -Yes I would love to have hurt , but Iām just starting to believe more and more that Hurt with him waiting till spring - I just feel the likelihood of him coming is less and less

JRE is good enough imo to start as a freshman so if we only get 1 of the JRE/Hurt duo I donāt personally feel its a huge loss one way or the other. Hurt does have some versatility and superior shooting ability to JRE but Jeremiah has really surprised me especially in recent video how well he does just about everything and his motor and effort will never be questioned here (if he came). The added bonus for JRE is you probably get 2-3 years of him to develop as opposed to Hurtās OAD assertions.
I think we (I know I do) get a bit uneasy with recruits such as Hurt that are in no rush. Hurt has the leverage in his recruitment with basically every top program in his ear so it makes perfect sense for him to wait it out. Personally I donāt feel we do that great with these type of recruitmentās but Self does win his share.

Someone on the phog posted JREās birthday is Nov 3rd. Not saying that could be the date he announces but you do see some every year that do that and with his recruitment at the end stage, just maybe?

@BeddieKU23 Ya , to me Iāve been a little surprised that JRE handles the ball decently loves to get out and run looks like he likes to hit the boards so ya would be nice.

Sharing what Nova is saying about JREā¦ Sounds like one poster has a source at IMG.
When I 1st heard it was only that UNC and NOVA were the favorites and that he would NOT go to Kansas. My sourceās son goes to IMG for lacrosse and they are family with as big a name as there is in College hoops history. The person he got the info from would have gotten in directly from the player and mom. They have buildings named after momās family at KU but she does NOT want him to go there. I will leave out why.

FWIWāI am friendly with a Big UNC booster/former player. About two weeks ago he said UNC not the destination. He thought Nova or Kansas in that order.
Another that the board seems to trust his intel says JRE will go to Nova.

Hurt and Earl both had the opportunity to play for Self this summer. If they arenāt interested in coming down to play for Bill full-time, Iām not interested in them either.
I do feel KU will land 2 of the 3 (Hurt, JRE, Zeke). I wish Hurt would start taking his recruitment seriously. Heās really hard to get a read on and itās kinda messing up recruiting of other prospects. Nothing new here though, kids gotta do whatās right for him first and foremost.

Yeah you would think that time spent with Self this summer would have sold them. However recruiting doesnāt seem to work like that.
Itās JREās decision in the end but there definitely seems to be some noise out there that it may be a decision influenced by others.

On the bright side, Memphis hoops people have absolutely taken note of how Self is feeding Dedric. Could pay dividends down the line.
