  Sounds like a pretty good chance is going to be playing very short handed on Saturday against WVU. Devin Neal is doubtful, Mason Fairchild and Trevor Kardell are both doubtful at TE so Jared Casey may end up getting his first start.

If we still had Baylor, OSU, OU or other good teams, I’d say sit him and don’t burn the redshirt. But, KU’s last two games are against the teams currently sitting in 8th and 9th in the Big 12 respectively so those are winnable games for KU and chance to build some momentum headed into the off-season so I’d definitely play whoever gives KU the best chance to win and build thar momentum. Reckon that makes reasonable sense. - -If we could win this TCU game think would be huge. I realize we are playing the 8 & 9th teams but this is still bad program - - BUT making strides. I just don’t hope we have a repeat like the week after we played tough against Oklahoma… - -you can see progress with this team won 2 games this year -Beat Texas - on the road , and played OU Tough - -things starting to show some promise. Hope Jalen can continue to grow

Notre Dame isn’t great by any means but they are a solid team. They caught FSU’s super bowl and survived on the road. College Football can be strange which makes it exciting at times. I bet this same ND team could beat FSU by 4+ touchdowns if they played each other again this week. We might win 1 game this year and that’s a stretch at this point. I have never seen it so hopeless in 30 years of watching them. I guess this is what KU football fans deal with on the reg.

  There was some KU football things that happened today. Special teams is atrocious still. Snap over the QBs head. Etc. I think LL is a bit too conservative for a team that needs to catch a few breaks to win a game. And our punt team and defense is so bad that it isn’t worth punting if we are anywhere near the 50. But on to next week.

  Saw where the conference is going to be formally reaching out to BYU, Cincinnati, Houston and UCF, perhaps as early as this football season wanting to expand the league to twelve teams. That info was obviously leaked, which means that those four schools are more likely than not going to accept the invite. It probably also means, just reading between the lines, that OU and Texas have reached an as of yet to be announced buyout agreement with the Big12 on their bolting to the SEC probably after this season or latest after next.
