  Before the injury Hishaw looked like a beast and I viewed him as a solid NFL back. He is still very good but not as explosive as prior to injury in my opinion.

  Really huge recruiting visits next week vs K/Straight. – they was ask numbers wise or talent wise & they said BOTH… – In the podcast Kirby who has followed kids said he has been doing this since like 1998 - -evaluating talent & he was saying KU fans ought to be stoked about our defensive end dual that we got coming in next year - -saying these guys are really good. - - Warner & Brinkley make quite the pair of edge rushers. Our RB room ought to be well represented again - -Probably have Hishaw back - -not sure about Neal - -BUT Martel - - Johny Thompson - -& Stewart looks pretty dam solid - Thompson has got some moves/speed

  @Crimsonorblue22 @mayjay @nuleafjhawk I actually see why we were chosen over them, they had 2 losses to our one. Our one loss was at neutral site to a top 10 team by one score with us missing 3 or 4 field goals. Missouri also lost to a good ranked team twice but got destroyed both times. I think we had a shot against OU that season if we beat Missouri. We went to Norman in the next season with no defense and they won by 10 and was possession game late.

Second , When we played UCF we played here at home - -When they played Oklahoma , they played at home. - So that’s a couple of things Like I said at first I was thinking well hell if UCF plays them like that then we should have a really good shot - -Don’t get me wrong we very well could, hoping the Booth will be packed and loud - -FOR US. we don’t need Oklahoma fans outnumbering KU fans. Hoping Jalen goes and hope our line can maintain blocks for pass protection & creting holes for our RB’S - -ROCK CHALK

  @Texas-Hawk-10 I don’t know, I’m not as smart as Lance and he was pretty pissed about it to, but the offsides. You don’t think I acknowledge them but I do, but the offside changed so much. It created a turnover when we would have had a first down. This team is still a work in progress and it’s great to argue about a KU football game because for a decade we didn’t give a hoot. Blaming games on one call is an interesting business. While I also acknowledge that anything could have happened to us had the refs called it offsides, in many games a last play of the game type call means you can blame refs for a call that would have changed the outcome of a game. Despite everything that happened before comes down to a ref making the right call on the last play. Thankfully they almost always do. But at times they miss it and an outcome is changed because of the call. Saints-Rams NFC championship game is a pretty good example, not perfect, but pretty clear, if the right call is made, the saints whittle the clock down to an easy chip shot FG to go to the super bowl. Missouri fans point to the TRob block/goaltend and that noncall meant we win, they call goaltend, we lose. Even though lots of stuff leads up to that point.

  I got to throw some love to JD after sleeping on it last night dude looked off most of the first half and ended up finishing 21/27 for 298 yards. That’s pretty darn efficient and had a few guys stopped at one preventing TDs. Great game by Neal all around once again. I read a good article this morning but can’t find it. But it summed me up good by saying “Man coach LL has came along way in less than 3 years, we are disappointed in Kansas only winning a road game by a touchdown. This program holds the record for most consecutive road losses”.

  I’ve always loved the band. Such a great tradition. Cooler weather is on the way, so I would expect the band to back in their appropriate uniforms. RC
