2 dollar tickets always have a surcharge. Probably 3 or 4 bucks. I use stubhub a lot. The higher the ticket the higher the surcharge.

Obviously the focus is on the Hawks tonight, but the slate for opening night in the Big 12 is pretty good. TT @ WVU, Texas @ KSU , and Iowa St @ Okie St.
Nothing like conference play in college basketball.

@Woodrow - I suppose we all know this, but lowest $ tickets at each of the other Big 12 games tonight are all $6.00. KU minimum tickets is $52. Per StubHub. There are some pretty good games for $6!

The league has looks to have taken a swing towards ugly offense and strong defensive play. We scored the most points tonight with 70. I’m not sure if its really good D or just terrible O, maybe a bit of both.

The Big 12 has 5 teams in KenPoms adjusted D rankings. Tech -1 , KSU - 5, OU - 7, KU - 8, and Texas -10.
So there is going to be some “ugly” ball played this year.

He’s definitely already gone. He never would have went to college if there was a better deal. He got everything he needed for 10 or so games to market himself as long as he’s healthy by the combine and workouts. Probably a top 10 pick as it stands now on his inside out ability at that size. Wasnt in school long enough for film to pick him apart. Protect the goods at all cost. Smart move

I just read it. Oh man. I didn’t catch the game so I figured you did. Worse you attended it. Happ has always struggled from the line so I’m not surprised he was fouled in similar manner to Doke.

Twice, basic physics alone would have proven the ball couldnt have gone the direction it did without UK fouling or tipping the ball. Yet benefit goes to UK. Unbelievable. The type of thing that makes you think games are rigged…

@Kcmatt7 They average 26.4 free-throws per game and give up 15.5 free-throws per game. They might lead the country in free-throw differential. If not, they are up there. Standard Kentucky.

Don’t look now , but after looking like a pile of luke warm dog doo for the 1st half - -K-State is killing Tech with their defense here in the 2nd half. - -Tech coming un raffled . - -mercy these two teams play un-believable defense right in your jock. - -As much as I hate it old Squeaky has them playing just un-real defense. - -it sucks but yet got to give props where props are deserved

It’s looking like things are setting up for Tech to give KU a real run at a Big 12 title this season. Both of Tech’s games against KState are early on in conference with Dean Wade out. Wade will probably be back by the time KState and KU play their first conference game in February.
