I think it’s hard to gauge us at home with how bad we have played on the road the last few years 3-10 in our last 13 tries. But I think we played too selfish the last two games. The ball movement was night and day better today

In what way does the defense “react”?
Nc state didn’t run a double at hunt and just guarded him straight up. There was no “reacting”
Thinking you need to get the ball inside to open up the rest of the offense isn’t what great college teams or nba teams do anymore as they figured out more efficient ways to score
Go watch Auburn and how they run offense and Broome as well. Night and day different from the stuff Self runs

He surely can’t forget that 4 guards got a team to overachieve and make it to the final 4 with Svi shutting down Bagley in the elite 8
I mean he can’t say - “wow that 4 guard lineup uh uh did some good things. Looks like spacing was better for hunt to operate down low (which I love) and we extended the league almost double while still holding them to 1 shot defensively which means we rebounded well against two bigs”
Instead he’s negative and acts like it didn’t work because he’s literally that freaking stuck on his predetermined thoughts on a player
Dude reminds me of my in laws who favor one kid so blatantly and whatever that kid says they take well and positive. If the other kid offers suggestions that kid gets crapped on no matter what
Bill’s got some issues with favoritism and man is it holding us back right now

Well, we won the North Carolina state championship, but I’m not sure that is worth much. The SEC was 27-3 against the ACC coming into today. Other than Duke, the ACC is wholly bereft of any quality wins and many, many non-conf losses…

— we seemed active for a lot of the game.
— we got Hunter involved. This is a must every game.
— Shaq sighting!
The discouraging signs:
— don’t look at the team FT stats. Despite more active driving, we barely got to the line. NC State had a zillion more attempts. Wtf?
— Hunter pulled another Hunter.
— AJ and Rylan live on another planet. Rylan had a few bright moments. But These guys need to get a clue, quickly.

Way better offensively and just slightly worse defensively
Him sticking with 2 bigs and giving Zach Clemence run is comically bad. I’ve never been more frustrated with Bill than this year. Recruit these guards to play 4-1 giving hunt more space and proceed to play 2 bigs almost all game - every game
Adam Sullivan @Sully_2029 Kansas is now 503-46 when scoring 70 or more in the Self era
KU is 112-100 when scoring under 70.

Chiefs and KU are the worst teams with their records ever. Everyone would like the Chiefs more if they had two more losses along with PM getting another 100 yds per game if we just blew out the ones we beat. Losses don’t matter as much as gaudy stats achieved in blowouts. KU has a shitty coach who has lost the locker room because there is no other possiblity for disappointing performances by top flight transfers and losing 2 upsets.
Man, I wish I liked drinking more so I could become blind drunk and forget the doonsday crap flying before and after every game!
