Beat Silo Tech! Lets save this football season!

What a hit!
-
Marvin Grant would fit so well in a Spags defense lol.
-
We got a chance - - 1:42 sec and two time outs
-
Got some time for some magic.
-
Plenty of time. I wish Tabor Allen wasn’t total dog water
-
Well I hate to say I told you so, hard to be mad at a d lineman for not catching a pick
-
Longest field goal of his stupid lame ass dickbreath life. Against us.
-
Let’s go, JD. Time to shine. Get in range. Not really too happy with you at this point, tbh.
-
One guy catches a kickoff and steps out at the 1. One play later 2 points. How much are we behind by?
-
RUN A SCREEN.
-
JD is concussed. get him out
-
Why didn’t he just get the first there? He had it
-
Ref looked like he was doing some geriatric dance move there.
-
I swear our WR have made some incredible catches this year. Probably the highlight.
-
Throw. The. Ball.
-
fumbled too. Sorry JD. I’ve given up on you man
-
ANOTHER YEAR = - - F - - -
-
This should be JDs last game as a starter. Move on. Let’s see what we have in Ballard
-
I’m pretty sure Trump is a K-State fan.
-
You have to put that one in the air, another game we blew smh. At some point is it time to move on from JD. He has been a huge piece in 3 losses this season with his costly turnovers
-
Yeah man that was disgusting. I was expecting to get blown out so this felt even worse. How on earth do you not throw that ball
-
Well we had some hopes at least. We had no answer for that defensive intensity in the last drive. KState fans, happy for your win against a 2-5 team. Basketball is a sport too and we own this state in that sport more than you do in football because we have banners and trophies.
-
@rcjhdraft He was too busy watching the piss run down his leg

Average Kansas FB 4q moment unfortunately
-
Close. Covered the spread at least. Enjoy knowing all the KSU fans that bet on the game lost.
-
A doinked XP and 29 stepping out of bounds. Man.
-
Is JD coming back next season ? It maybe for the best if not. I thought the defense really played well for having a short field repeatedly. We got out coached in several key points of the game. We once again couldn’t make simple plays that D1 football players should make routinely like extra points, catching passes and fielding kick offs. It’s ground hog day with these idiots every week.
-
I’ve missed a lot of our games this year but does JD6 know what a hot route is or how to identify a blitz?
Every single time ksu blitzed that final drive he had zero answer for it
Leipold and his staff looks to be clowned without the true brains up in Pennsylvania now….
-
Rock chalk!
-
@kjayhawks TBD. I hope so. The last couple games he’s shown a lot of good things. Q catches one perfect ball and we’re having a different chat
-
@FarmerJayhawk he has been better for sure but turnovers in key moments have been his niche this season. The pass before half was likely PI but wasn’t a smart read to being with, then back to back fumbles to end drives.
-
We get spanked by 20 Friday night in a game that never felt close and choke away a win against silo tech for the second straight year. It’s been pretty tough to be a jayhawk these last few years. I’m sorry but no way we make a FF in basketball.
-
Seems absurd that 6-7 guys rushing the passer wouldn’t leave a few chances for numerous over the middle passes. But no one ran crossing routes, despite having 2 timeouts and over a minute left. I am now in the fire the OC camp.
-
@mayjay right, this is the third time this season JD didn’t throw to at least give his guys a chance and fumbled it. I would’ve ran a jail break screen once or twice there middle of the field was wide open.
-
Weirdest stat I’ve ever seen KU 2-6 with a +46 in the points column.
-
@rcjhdraft - Screw ups at the end of the game are habitual this year. At least KSU didn’t score before the half. Another loss.
-
Hi, Hollywood? It’s the Kansas Jayhawks here. Yes, i know, we seem to call week after week. Our coaches and staff have run out of dramatic ways to lose games. You know, since we do it every week now. We have to keep the fans on the edges of their seats. Do you have anybody available who can write up a good implosion, tearjerker ending for our fans? Oh, good. Thx. Just make sure the script arrives with about 3-4 minutes to go in the 4th quarter tonight. Oh, and say hi to Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul for us. Our fans are getting almost as good at crying on cue this season. Cheers.
-
This loss will hurt for a while, wanted to beat KCU so baddd and came so close.
-
@AsadZ it will be five years before we have the chance again or longer.

Bad teams make losing plays. It makes it so much harder to watch. A bad team that is competitive is so much more heartbreaking to watch than a bad team that’s awful.

This is a conundrum. I think it’s hard to bring him back after this season because it feels like it’s time to turn the page.
Talent-wise I get the argument for keeping him. But I genuinely wonder if a year from now he’s the best QB on the roster.
Devil you know vs the devil you don’t…

Anyone else just want to throw up this morning

I can’t even be upset anymore with this team because it’s gone from disappointing to literally laughable. Raiders-esk
-
@Kcmatt7 ya I just need to waive the white flag I guess like @nuleafjhawk did
-
I can easily imagine what the feeling would be like if we had dug deep and won them all.
That would have been the furthest thought from mind 4 years ago.
-
@kjayhawks I have loved KU for so long…my house looks like a Jayhawk shrine. But I’ve reached that level of disappointment. Sorry to be a Debbie downer, everyone. But I don’t think it’s unrealistic.
-
Boy, it’s both easy and tough to be down on JD after this game.
He really seemed like he was on his passing and running game. He made some excellent passes — and some really accurate deep passes. That deep ball that was dropped was spot on! I was happy to see he and the receivers seemed to be connecting consistently, finally.
But then that other stuff happened. We had all those good thoughts and feelings like we were gonna win, and then either a pick or a fumble. The pick was irritating, but the fumble was infuriating. Why???
I don’t know how you fix that. Decision making? If you can’t make the right decision after all these years in the program, then it’s likely not gonna change.
The even worse part was that I was just waiting for all this to happen. Give us hope, and KU football fans can’t help but wait for the comically bad to happen. That sucks. Don’t we deserve better?
-
Just like last year, JD tries to make a hero-play. Then it was an injury trying to get an unnecessary extra yard, this time tries to vault a defender while holding the ball out in one hand, resulting in a fumble. Does he understand that at the end of the gamevyou HAVE to protect the ball?
-
@rockchalkjayhawk maybe it’s the price we pay for being so good at basketball for so long. Maybe the day KU opened someone said “you can be good at football or basketball. Pick one” obviously we chose basketball.
-
Even with the mistakes Daniels made last night. He didn’t step out at the 1 or miss a PAT. That’s 3 points right there. That’s the most frustrating thing this year. This team isn’t bad, it’s been a couple of plays here and there that have resulted in 5 of the 6 losses.
This team is so close and to see so many here quitting on this team is disappointing.
