With 5 minutes to go and Cryer singly getting Houston within three possessions Self assigned Juan exclusively to Cryer who accomplished one assist, one turnover and one missed air ball three the rest of the way.

Best all around performance of the season. Only team to hang 70 on UH in regulation this season. 18 turnovers is the one black eye for today for Kansas otherwise this is probably a 25 point win. Shooting almost 70% for the game against that defense is insane because UH is legitimately a top 5 defense in the country.
Today is why KU was the preseason #1 because when they play like this, nobody can beat Kansas. KU is also 4-1 against current top 10 teams so we know our ceiling is high enough to win a title because nobody else has done that so far this season that I’m aware of.

The top four conference teams get a double bye in our tourney which likely means less wear and tear going into the nationals.

KU statement game: 69% from the field and 46% from 3 against a really good defensive team. The confidence from this significant win must carry over to the KSt game on Monday.

Especially wrong that it drowned out the rock chalk chant. Hope we don’t hear that again.
