Thing is with Hunter, I wouldnāt be OVRELY concerned if he didnāt come in for a visit. I think he could very easily still land here without visit. Thing about it is - -he has had a first hand look at how we run our game , he knows the team from competing against us. Has a feel for how Coach Self Coachās .
I think most of what else he needs to know could actually be done through Zoom/face call talking to the staff always has time after to really check out the Campus and such .I think if he is serious most of this can take place without visit just meet on face time and such working out details, How Coach would want to use him and such - - expectations and so on - - we shall see

I hear you. Iām admittedly a bit biased against that town.
Many moons ago, when I was in college, I made a road trip down there for a football game and had one of the worst days you could possibly have. Iāve held a grudge ever since.
Circumstances aside, I still found it to be completely inhospitable.

Have you ever been to Lubbock? I believe it is the most isolated P5 school in the country, even more so than Washington St. I canāt think of any other P5 schools that are a 4+ hour drive to a major metropolitan area (1 million+ residents) and Lubbock is about 5 hours from the D/FW area.
Lubbock is also an ugly city and area. People make jokes about Kansas being flat, that area of Texas flat and has minimal diversity of vegetation. Thereād have to be some very special reason for me to ever want to make that drive to Lubbock. I know several Tech alums who have never been back to Lubbock because of how isolated and boring of a city it is for anyone not in school there.

And it just keeps getting better and better for Kentucky. - - Keion Brooks has entered the portal. He played in all 33 games for them last year. - -That makes him & Dontaie Alen ( they just totally screwed with this kid ) & Bryce Hopkins to enter the portal
Then they lost TY Ty to the NBA Draft - -Topping has entered the draft but maintaining this eligibility status Plus another - -Dammit I hate it when that happens to that team lol

His family will be able to go to ISU, KSU, OSU and OU games plus all of our home games.
Creighton makes a ton of sense for him too though for those reasons plus a huge role. Also they pay well too.

@Kcmatt7 Yeah I think the bigger role is a real factor for Creighton here. Will be interesting. I think he decides within the next 7-10 days.

The only way I like Mccullar is as Plan C. Get Baylor then Hunter. If all fails then Mccullar. Mccullar struggle shooting the three good mid range shooter and Elite defender. I know Coach really just want his defense
