UVA is older info. I’ll ask again about Ricky, when did they land the PG? I know they were gonna add Collins but they either struck out or must have told him they got someone else.

Yup Key, Tech really wanted him. Barnes still has Zeigler the little freshman guard that played a ton & while Vescovi is testing I can’t imagine he’ll get drafted.

Former 5 star PF Brandon Huntley-Hatfield committed to Louisville. Played as a freshman at Tennessee.
Former 4 star PG Corey Floyd committed to Providence. Spent the year practicing at UConn.
Former West Virginia starter Sean McNeil is headed to Ohio St
Transfer PG Tyreke Key headed to Tennessee. Texas Tech among others was hot on his trail.
Ohio PF transfer Ben Vander Pas headed to Virginia. Iowa St really wanted him
Caleb Lohner from BYU transferring to Baylor
Nigel Pack gets an 800k NIL deal to play at Miami.

Mercy the Iowa State fans about to have a Nuclear meltdown on Hunter .Talking and saying if he ends up at Ku would Self even play him when they come to Hilton. Just about ready to wet themselves - -they are hot lol.
Her’s the thing , they are all worked up on this and the kid hasn’t even said he is going to land here, sure thee has been talk but my GOD people at least wait till it happens , who knows ? - -no one can say 100 % it’s a done deal , is he gonna visit ? - -So we have heard - BUT come on until he announces he is coming - -chill the frick out. - This sounds really terrible and it hasn’t happened yet and sure the hell hope it doesn’t - -and better not but YET a hot as those people are it wouldn’t stun me if the poor kid doesn’t get bodily harm threats sent to him if he says he is coming to KU - -Serious and that would be really pathetic/sad - don’t laugh I could actually see something like that coming from those idiots - all the remarks they are making. One of the other schools involved is worried they don’t have a shot because KU just about has him locked up. Friend of a friend on their coaching staff (I’m getting old lol). Hunter really wants to play for a blue blood and we having a starting spot open at the 2G and can meet (will probably exceed honestly) the number he was looking for in terms of NIL.

So if I were a guessing guy I would have to say if we can land Tyresse Hunter & Ricky Council - not sure do they both play the same position ? - Anyways if not if we landed both we would have to call that a very sweet Portal.

IF & This isn’t happening but IF he said IF both Wilson and Braun returned and no one transferred out that KU would be full and have no scholi available - -but take it to the bank be willing to bet that Christan & Jaeln BOTH are gone

Bobby isn’t going anywhere. Getting Hunter would give Bobby another year to develop w/o having to start.
Believe Cuffe will be asked to leave. Joe could see the writing on the wall as well but idk. Sounding like KJ will stay.

Hunter is a true guard and Ricky is more of a wing/4 for us. I think this combination would fit the bill that Self talked about. That said, not sure how far along things are with Ricky. Not as far as Hunter I believe.

I don’t think Bobby is going anywhere.
I do think we are in jeopardy of losing Yes, although I think recruiting him back is big because I could see Hunter only being here 1 year. So I think there is room on the roster to keep him if he’s willing to stay. With minutes available to him the next season. But he has no path to start here ever no matter what he does. He could become a 60% 3pt shooter and Bill is going to play Bobby and Harris over him. So I have to think the only way he stays is if he likes winning, NIL takes care of him, and that he knows he is likely to have a pro career overseas which KU helps guys get started on. He can grad transfer after this next season too. I’d also be interested in seeing him redshirt this season and spend an entire season just developing his game. Keep two years of eligibility. If after his RS season there is still no path to PT he can transfer and still have 2 years of eligibility. This is my hope, but it feels like a pipe dream…
If we close on Hunter, I think you’ll also see another wing added to the roster after the NBA combine is over. Mosely/Council/Dennis are the names I’m guessing on. Probably would prioritize them in that order.

MAJOR BAG ALERT. Would be pretty surprised if this doesn’t get done fairly quick. I dont’ think Gonzaga is really in the NIL game. Louisville is the darkhorse IMO

I broke his stats down to pre-February vs. February-March: 38.5%/21.8%/68.9% vs. 40%/35.1%/68.4%. Really shot it better from 3 later in the season. Counting stats pretty much the same

For freshmen, some hit a wall later in their college seasons, others figure it out. Looks like he figured it out as time went on.

I’m still not a sold/confident that Hunter end up here , hope I’m wrong and as hard as it is to believe I have been wrong before lol.- I think he possibly lands at Louisville or Purdue bee a pretty good fit at either, Louisville kinda scares me

These guys sound nice – but thing is we have got to get some guys to move if any of these possible transfer want to come. Just wonder why taking so long. - Heard CAM really doesn’t want to transfer out - -Heard KJ & Mama might have a change of heart an wants to stick. - -Bout the only one I heard quite likely is Cuffe and even he hasn’t come out and said anything yet. - I know it’s all about numbers and such but I rally thought Cuffe had some possibilities for us tape I saw was pretty nice

But also Bill could get a top 25 defense out of dudes from the rec. So maybe it is a non issue and we just continue with this sort of positionless switch everything basketball that Bill has (thankfully) adopted the last 4-5 seasons with no problems.
I’m just salivating at the thought of Harris/Hunter running PG surrounded by Baylor, Wilson, Dick and Clemence. Where we just pick and roll you to death in the half court.
2018 Nova maybe the last team to have that kind of shooting prowess?

This one was WILD. He was a lock, then he wasn’t with Oregon, Depaul etc being involved then does in fact end up at Kentucky.
