Not the worst idea for 3 games in 3 days.
You can tell Remy is feeling a bit hurt, UNT has been going at him defensively almost exclusively lately.

Not a very easy game to watch. UGLY game , no flow at al. Iāve been a Dave supporter but mercy he looked bad , I mean bad , he has got to got this turned around. To many TOāS - just an ugly game -I guess a win is a win if you have to win ugly , then win ugly. Get these out of our systems.
Christan looked decent , Mitch was ok. - - So if Dave getās benched who takes his place? - I just donāt think Zac is the answer - - not starter anyways he get worked over on the defensive has to bulk up - so who ?

Not lying, Iād take Mitch over Dave at this point. Youāre right, he did look bad - just plodding along, a rusty mechanical look.
Ochai looked good, Remy and Braun too. Wilson not bad either, first game back. As it see it so far, Dave definitely the weak link. A hard game to watch.

Eh, last year was hard to watch. That was a pretty good result with a hurt Remy and Dave playing awful.

Was able to watch most of the game but couldnāt comment today. I really liked the way Jalen Wilson rebounds and then pushes it hard up the floor. Remy was great. Agbaji, Braun, Wilson, and Mitch were good. Dave needs to play better.

Lotta good today, but also some bad. I think we would have won regardless, but it sure helped North Texas couldnāt hit a 3. I was annoyed every time the announcers said āTexasā did something instead of āNorth Texasā. Kinda like saying āKansasā did something if āKansas Stateā was playing. Soooo many skip passes today. Remy was tossing fastballs everywhere! His shot selection needs work. But we really need his scoring skills when the offense breaks down. How long did we have to wait last year for Big Dave to bust his slump? Conference play? I repeat myself when saying he can learn some composure from Mitch.

@rockchalkjayhawk I was impressed with Mitchās play. Juan wasnāt on his game, seemed to kind of be forcing things.

Alright, Iāll eat some crow, glad that we have Mitch with the way Daveās been playing. Personally, Iām tired of the same conversation for going on four years now. Please donāt come back for your super senior season, Dave. There, Iām done now.

Watching Dave, I wonder if he is one of the people who have lingering effects from Covid. Gassed in just a few minutes, sweating sheets of water, looks confused. I think there may be a hidden story there.
At least he isnāt fouling a lot. About the best I can say at this point!
Mitch looks like conference Dave last year, and vice versaā¦

@mayjay For real, Mitch is playing well. I didnāt expect Dave to play this badly again to start the season, not in his senior year.

Mitch had a few really nice moments on offense.
Dave is just wired wrong on the court, you would have thought maturity would have slowed him down but everything is rushed and just unbalanced. Itās all mental

Yup, exactly. I had the same thoughts last night about his wiring being mixed up. There has to be a simple fix in there somehow.
Then I started thinking, OK, Dave is Dave. Did his surrounding and supporting cast change the way they are doing things, which is messing up his game? His spot on the floor changed? Stuff like that?
Maybe heās not good at change (new guys in rotation), and needs adjustment time?
