Was wondering how the Zags would adapt to an unfamiliar court at Seattle’s new arena. Not too well, as it tuns out.
Technically a neutral site though the crowd was mostly pro-Bulldogs.

Proof the very nature of the game allows a hot team to beat a better team.
Self has the right term here… “margin for error.” Also means “margin for opposition hotness.” You just won’t hear Self use that term because he wants his fellas taking total responsibility on the floor.

Shackleford and Quinerly both had really good games. Holgrem no matter how good he is - -is going to be exposed/bullied in certain situations til he gets in the weight room. If Anyone I think Baylor once again can pose a serious that to the run

@BShark Purdue will be the flavor du jour until someone knocks them off and people say ‘see, we told you about them’.
Was really glad OSU knocked Duke down so we don’t have to listen to it non-stop about that team and K’s farewell tour.

Purdue looks very solid for sure. Not unbeatable but very good. Hard to hang with what they can throw at you down low and the Ivey kid is about as good a guard as they have had under Painter.

The ladies beat Vandy today , strong 2nd half - -1st half not pretty trailing by 9 at the half - - - Final 74-67 - -but mercy there were some strange/bad calls it seemed on our Big 6’6 post player just very questionable , BUT we won - - NOW 7-1 on the Season , our only loss coming against # r0 ranked Tennessee , was competitive that game ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I know I will be in the huge minority here probably ad I understand that , and I do understands others positions on it - but I really do wish we would play Wichita State.
I know we really don’t have anything to gain really but I think it would be fun have some interesting match ups and just play - makes us look like the aggorant big brother by not refusing to play, and I agree like maybe possibly a 3 game agreement even play them One at the phog - - one on a neutral and one at their place - -were good enough - -why not?

Absolutely correct and can do it in lightning speed… especially as we start pushing up the tempo!
I am soooo ready for Self to push these guys to up the tempo! I know it takes practice to become efficient… but I think by conference time we will be pushing the pace more than now!

This team doesn’t have the defensive abilities to play as up tempo as a lot of people want to.
They have no choice but to. The skillsets of our players demand an up-tempo run style, the D feeding off that. We don’t have the enforcer(s) inside to play mostly half-court sets. We don’t. The frontcourt depth and talent is coming next year (and I think Cam Martin will surprise), but this year it’s just not there.

WOW!!! Badgers losing by 22 near the end of the first half to Indiana. Badgers win by 5! Indiana has lost 19 in a row in Madison which is as much a testament to Wisconsin’s prowess in the sport as it is Indiana’s struggles to hold on to relevancy in the game. I’m actually pretty fired up right now!

@BeddieKU23 Yes. In fact Valpo has two other former Badgers. When I saw they played EW University I had to look it up and was surprised to see it was just up the road from my house. It’s a 15-20 story building in the south downtown area of Chicago right on Michigan ave. The school doesn’t even have a formal athletic department as far as I could see. The basketball page had a notice “Tryout for the basketball team”. They play a schedule of local D3, juco’s and small schools that really don’t have any sort of athletic affiliation.
