Why even throw the GD ball??? Just run it and tie the game. The defense finally shows some resiliency and the offense craps their pants. JD is a great dude but we have to have someone else play QB.

The play calling in the red zone, decision-making and execution are all inexplicably bad…

I take back what I said about JD6 being one of the better QBs in our program’s history. He is one of the worst. He is Cozart, Crist, Bender level bad, and probably worse. Any illusion of him ever being good was caused by Grimm, Arnold, and Neal carrying him. He should not be starting at QB at any level of football. If he has any decency in him he will give back any and all NIL he has ever earned to the school.

He is good enough to win you games, which none of the others were. He is a notch above. But he’s no Reesing.
He could have left and gotten a BAG and stayed (still probably for a bag). But he’s a real Jayhawk in an era that doesn’t really exist anymore. So I respect him a lot.

Simply can’t get a 4th quarter stop - all season long…

Now this year I wouldn’t put most of the losses on the offense. But those games we had a chance late and threw picks or fumbled inside the 5 the possession before.

Stanley threw 11 ints his senior year. He was not good.

Well it’s been another year of what if for Kansas football friends. Gosh I’m almost speechless, I had hope there for a bit. As Red says in Shawshank “hope in here is a dangerous thing”

Wow. i’m finally caught up to the game. Absolutely jaw dropping. Shocking. Unprecedented to throw two interceptions like that in or near the end zone in scoring position? How is that possible???
This kind of play makes you wanna just quit being a fan of the program. They just make it so hard for us. Laughable to play like that.
And i haven’t read the thread yet. Did anybody criticize our half ass coach for ACCEPTING those Utah penalties in the 2nd quarter? Just idiotic. Can’t one of his assistants punch him in the shoulder and say WTF are you doing???
Sigh. We just have to grow up and into a real football team at some point. Will it happen?

Then you get to 4th and ten and just sit on it. JD isn’t a n average D1 QB sorry but that’s a fact at this point. Yes playing for longer than any QB in Kansas history he was able to get to number 2 on most records.

The question for next year is do we have anybody better to take over?

@rockchalkjayhawk that’s the problem like I said the two deep was loaded with seniors this season. A 3 win season is probably inevitable for next season and I would be okay with that if we had made bowls the last few seasons like we should have.

10/27 187 yards 1 touchdown and 3 interceptions for a 6th year senior. That maybe the worst line I have ever seen out of a guy with his experience. One of the worst QB performances in KU history IMO and I watched thru the 90s and early 00s

nope no blow out this year , we wwhere blowing them of the ball. Feel really bad for HiShaw he play his ass off- -same with williams- -huge gashes in their Defense
