Maybe I missed it. Is Jordan Quintance on the KU radar? He’s only 16 (?) so he had 2 years NCAA ball at a minimum. 6’9” 4 or 5. He was committed to Kentucky. 5*

No mentions yet, we did make a run at him prior to his first commitment.
Reportedly has visited Louisville, could visit Memphis and may also go back to UK.

@Gorilla72 KU is not recruiting him. Nike paid his family to NOT visit KU the first time, is a rumor out there.

Well I just aw a little tid bit I think.- -might add substance to Acuff.–Yesterday or last night I looked at player rankings and pulled up Acuff -he was of course ranked the # 4 ranked player, & in his list of Schools he had Kentucky – - Michigan—& KU – -all warm.
Tonight I looked him up in the rankings and he had ONE School listed as warm – -and yes it was - - - - - - KU. - -The thing had switched for Kentucky & Michigan to Cool.-- Gotta believe umm ya things happening lol— -them sneaky little devils----- ROCK HALK

Not really a surprise when you think about, he’s likely behind Juan, Mayo and Elmarko in the pecking order. I’m hearing it was mutual between both parties.

Dodging the perverbial bullet here. Just weeding out guys that don’t really want to work for it. On his 3rd commitment of this cycle so yeah he’s not worth another sentence.

Sounds like Bama and Baylor are the main players here. Bama roster is sparse atm and it’s home for him. Baylor is hiring his HS coach (has ramifications well beyond just him).

I think you can bet the farm he’ll move on a few more times. Really liked his potential as lead guard here but now I don’t have to worry

He wouldn’t play at all at Baylor either. Roach and incoming stud Rob Wright + 2nd year Mario Little. He isn’t going to find an easy roster. These kids SMH

Well, any news on Kugel yet? Still a Jayhawk as far as I can tell.
That’s probably the last piece of the puzzle, unless Hunter goes pro today.

Never been a doubt.
The main guy tied to him (will be here in Lawrence when Kease moves in) told me his phone was on fire when KU signed Storr and he politely told them all no chance.

For anyone looking into a peek behind the curtains about avoiding tampering allegations… He said there was a lot of like…parents of players on various programs reaching out for the coaching staff to gauge interest.

Well for at least a year we got him locked in. Really want to see him grow here, big fan of his game but hard to even care now. I hope Bill still finds some kids that want to be at KU

fully realize it was all star game Flory - playing in Indiana and big jump to P-5 basketball, but finished really impressive -Flory finished with 34 points- - -22 rebounds - -& 3 blocked shots. Not a bad nights work

Flory is going to be a strong rebounder and possibly a strong rim protector from day 1. His offensive game leaves a lot to be desired so him playing back up minutes to Hunter is a good role for Flory this year to maximize his strengths and hide his current weaknesses.

@rockchalkwyo - he was born 2006, so he’s 18 now. I assume this year’s class not next. No idea regarding the pro issue.

Dam 5 * Jeremiah Fear is re-opening his recruitment - -Originally committed to Illinois , but re-opening recruitment and -re-classifying to 2024. Chose Illinois over Providence , Ol Miss , Michigan - & KU
I think it would be to late for him here at KU right ? - -with the 2 guard we have here now , he should of committed to us from the get go , I don’t think we try to recruit again for this year, & I don’t think he would come here to play a reserve role this year do you ?
