Did well avoiding stupid mistakes for the first 10 minutes or so, then sort of fell apart. It doesn’t look like the 2nd string had much time to practice since saturday, IMO.

Bruce Pearl is such a slimy dude. Auburn deserves him.

They were +4 on free throw makes and got to take an extra 7 shots, with at least 25% of their makes coming from DUMB live ball turnovers.
Things had to go their way just to be up 5. I’m feeling okay

Bill is phenomenal on his plays Run the elevator for Och Run the screen the screener Get the man some open looks without the defender in his shirt

Some of the TO problems came from playing weird lineups from foul trouble. Really worked over our flow

They are on a not so far fetched pace to call 50 fouls

I’d even consider some zone to steal some minutes from this kind of foul trouble

Joe and KJ should be the first two off the bench and Mitch is the only other reserve that might be ok for a minute or 2. I would be ok with JCL if he’d had more recent run.

@FarmerJayhawk Thank you, I was really trying to figure out that lineup at the end of the half: Harris, Pettiford, JCL, Ochai & KJ? But everybody else had 2 fouls, so that’s what we ended up with.

I looked up the flop rule. A player who fakes being fouled is assessed a Class B technical foul, so the opposing team would get one free throw attempt and the player would not be assessed a personal foul.
Pretty reasonable, if they’d actually call it.
